Now that I've got a new section in the works (and because my other thread is in the archives :>), I decided to make this thread for my sections, past, present, and future. Details about my upcoming section in Strategy Wing will be in the next post.

Life of the Party (possible return?) - Critic Corner
Issue 210 - Part 1

How to Outpizza the Tower - Strategy Wing (delayed, ignore numbers)
Issue 226 - Character Guide and Basic Knowledge
Issue 227 - Level Guides for Floors 1 and 2
Issue 228 - Level Guides for Floors 3 and 4
Issue 229 - Level Guide for Floor 5 (minus Level 20), and a Boss Guide for Floor 1
Issue 230 - Boss Guides for Floors 2 and 3
Issue 231 - Boss Guides for Floors 4 and 5 (and a Level Guide for Level 20)
Issue 232 - P-Rank Guides for Floor 1
Issue 233 - P-Rank Guides for Floor 2
Issue 234 - P-Rank Guides for Floor 3
Issue 235 - P-Rank Guides for Floor 4
Issue 236 - P-Rank Guides for Floor 5
Issue 237 - Wrap-up, Level/P-Rank Guides for bonus levels (Secrets of the World, Tricky Treat), and Mod coverage

I'm also thinking of a Fun Stuff section, but that might take a while.

Inspired by Spark's Strategy Wing sections, if I consider myself such a master of Pizza Tower, why don't I make a 12-issue long guide for it? I'm not sure what to call it yet (possibly How to Outpizza the Tower), but I do have a rough idea for the 12 segments. I'll use some abbreviations here for easier writing, so:

BG is a Boss Guide, where I'll cover a boss or two and their attack patterns, and how to deal with them with each character. This will also cover their P-Ranks

CG is Character Guide, where I'll cover the playable characters in one swoop and discuss their strategies

FG is Floor Guide/Field Guide, where I'll cover that Floor(s)'s levels and enemies and tactics for a basic run-in

MG is a Mods Guide, a special issue to end it off about some of my favorite mods, as well as the three categories there.

PG is P-Rank Guide, which will be some of the last, all about combo and the like, as well as a floor at a time

So, with that out of the way, here's the rough schedule for this year-long series!
Issue 226 - CG, all characters
Issue 227 - FG, Floors 1 and 2
Issue 228 - FG, Floors 3 and 4
Issue 229 - FG/BG, Floor 5 and Boss 1
Issue 230 - BG, Boss 2 and Boss 3
Issue 231 - BG, Boss 4 and Boss 5
Issue 232 - PG, Floor 1
Issue 233 - PG, Floor 2
Issue 234 - PG, Floor 3
Issue 235 - PG, Floor 4
Issue 236 - PG, Floor 5
Issue 237 - MG, Mod Coverage

If you have any other questions, let me know!

I don't think this would get accepted, considering you are making a guide for a 3rd party game. It might get accepted if you make it any 3rd party game, but I think this would only cut it for a one-off section.

Third party games are absolutely welcome in Strategy Wing (and elsewhere in The 'Shroom), whether covered in a one-off or a recurring section. We even have a recurring section covering a third party game currently, with So You Want to Romance the Three Kingdoms? covering the Koei Tecmo game Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire.

I would be thrilled to see Pizza Tower coverage in Strategy Wing!

So Mega Man doesn't exist?!

Backing up what Pitohui said here, we would absolutely accept a Pizza Tower-based section and have no rules against third-party content. Please refrain from making statements like this and leave this sort of thing to 'Shroom staff, it's not helpful to us or our writers if you're spreading misinformation about processes that you're unfamiliar with.

Pitohui and WT hit the nail on the head with their statements listed above, but I will also give my ten cents on the matter: I know you're new here, but there are no rules in place against non-Mario content in The 'Shroom in spite of it being a Mario themed newspaper. Things from outside the Marioverse have been a thing in The 'Shroom for as long as I can remember, so that's more than enough a reason for Fizzle to be allowed to make a non-Mario themed section in Strategy Wing with no questions asked. Long story short, while I know you're new here, you don't have to tell people who wish to write for The 'Shroom what they can and cannot write. If you don't know much about how a process works, it's perfectly fine to keep your lips sealed.

Alright, I have updated the top post with How to Outpizza the Tower's outline for its run, including some updated coverages, such as not spoiling Level 20 until right when its needed, and wrapping up and covering the bonus levels in the final installment!

I'll be working on a logo/banner/text line for it over the next couple weeks, then hopefully starting on its first installment in December.

I'll also get into contact with Strategy Wing's head writer (which I do not recall) in November at some point, and I will learn how to do the images and coding that was done for me with Life of the Party.

Strategy Wing Director here! When you're ready to discuss your section, feel free to reach out! I'm more than happy to offer a primer in wiki formatting.

That looks awesome! So you say this section will be inspired by my two currently ongoing Strategy Wing sections? I may not be familiar with Pizza Tower (surprising, right?) but I'll gladly help you create the walkthrough you have in mind. Feel free to reach out to me and Pitohui if you need it, don't be shy!

I think for now, as I'm still a bit behind on my work, that I save this project until I know I have time to do them all, as school is about to start back up and I likely won't have as much free time. So, what I mean is, I will be delaying OutPizza the Tower for now, but I'm not canceling just yet. This way, I have plenty more time to improve my writing, get all my images together, learn the formatting as much as I can, et cetera.
