Just completed the new Star Wars game, Zero Company.

Awesome game! Super fun! I'm not usually into turn-based tactics games but I couldn't stop playing lol
i just got the biggest bout of deja vu that i think i've ever gotten wtf. everything i've read says deja vu isn't supposed to be as common as it is but i get it every week or so, and i'm pretty sure that moment lasted a good 5-10 seconds. should i be concerned lmao
To my fellow writers, do I write good characters? Idk if its just my tired thoughts but I was looking back at some of my old works and was somewhat disappointed at how I did certain characters, now while I have improved since then, I somewhat feel as if I need to flesh out some of my characters more, since a few of them feel too one note, like for example, Mind Master Tripliss, Feathers etc, Idk if im just undermining myself, but I feel as of im not using these characters too there full potential, but again that might just be me. If you have any comments or suggestions im free to hear them!

This isn't necessarily commentary on the writing I've seen from you, and more just a general suggestion about how to write more engaging characters: an adaptability to environment. A character's wants and needs are going to be different from scene to scene, because of the circumstances they've found themselves in, and being flexible in how they respond to those changes is a huge point in ensuring that characters don't feel "one note". There isn't anything wrong with rooting a character in a solid personality, but what happens when that personality's pushed? When they're forced to present differently? When things clearly aren't going their way, or when a reminder of the past yanks them backwards towards where they've been? Exploring these aspects of character can ensure that they come across as multifaceted.

Basically: allow your characters to have changes, flaws, or to act seemingly "out of character" at times, and this will naturally adapt into a more fleshed-out image of them.
I don't know why, but the Tower of the Wing Cap's star is probably the most difficult for me regardless. I say this since, as I try to learn the 70 star beginner speedrun it's one of the main stars you need... which is of course not great for my skills that I have from 64 Co-op ;-;

I get it, the wing cap controls are very awkward
