Halloween

I'm afraid I'm a little too old to go Trick-Or-Treating. Plus, I grew up in a Christian family, where Halloween is considered "the devil". Up to this day, I still have no idea what's so Satanic about dressing up in a costume and going to someone's house to get some candy. Although supposedly, there was some kind of dark history behind Halloween, but so what? Thanksgiving has also been changed from what it originally was, and that holiday's considered fine and dandy.

People wore costumes at school today. I wore my Sharks jersey. Sunday night I'm not doing anything because I don't wanna deal with some douchebags I live near.

Never trick-or-treated, don't intend to start. I'll just stay up and play F.E.A.R..

I faintly remember that it used to be some heathen ceremony. Of course the church points their finger at a lot of things. I doubt there is much reason behind their accusations besides... I don't know, maybe a misinterpreted line from the bible. Wouldn't be the first time.

The devil is most likely to be found in those who are trying to expel it.

I'm not going to be doing anything for Halloween. I'll treat it like a normal night.

Oh, yeah, same here.
Same too. I never trick-or-treated, and I hardly ever get trick-or-treaters.

Some people here say Halloween is for Americans only (this city is filled with Turkish, Moroccan, Iranian, etc. people - Muslims in The Netherlands is as normal as Afro-Americans in the USA), whereas in the village of my father, all kids are celebrating Halloween.

I'm not allowed to go trick-or-treating, but it doesn't matter anyway, because my neighbors always give me a bunch of the candy they get every year.

Why not?

For people, celebrating Halloween: Happy rainy Halloween! (At least, it's currently raining here.)

No... though I am wearing a Ghostbusters shirt.

And I'm listening to awesome music like these:

I had to study, and go to a birth party (which totally sucked).
And I had to go to bed earlier, because I have to go to work in an half our.
