Well, I beat Whitney. I had to spend an hour or so playing Voltorb Flip to get myself a Sandshrew for the pokedex. I also had to beat Whitney a second time because I forgot to save.
And because I felt like it, my team from the first time I actually played through a pokemon game fully. (Not completely fully, still havent beaten red, but I don't think I'll go do it, because I feel like my team is good enough as is.)
TYPHLOSION [Blaze] ~My Starter~
ALAKAZAM [Lucky] ~The first Abra I saw and I got it with a Great Ball. I named him Lucky because of that. Also, he evolved when I thought trading and trading back would give him boosted EXP. I completely forgot about it evolving through that method~
GYARADOS [Rage] ~The Red one from Lake of Rage. My friend ended up beating his one by accident~
LUCARIO ~Lucario was my favourite Pokemon, so my other friend who had beat Platinum, gave me the Riolu you get from the egg on Iron Island. He has been the Pokemon I used for almost everything because I wanted him to evolve. By the time he did, he was way overleveled~
LUGIA [Tsunami] ~I needed the legendary of the game of course, I thought it was a given back then. I don't like using legendaries anymore though~
GIRATINA [Dusk] ~This one is an interesting one. My friends had just gotten their R4's, the ROM playing DS card, so we decided to test some cheats for a HeartGold ROM, to see what it was like. We each cheated in an Arceus and traded it over to our games so we could experience the event and see what one was like. Then we each chose a legendary. I took Giratina since I knew it would be able to change forms and I thought it was cool. The friend who beat the Red Gyarados accidentally chose Dialga because it made donkey noises and the other one, who only recently got his game and was speeding through it to catch up, chose Palkia. Honestly, it's pretty cool.~

And, here's my Hoenn Team after spending a ton of time grinding up my Pokemon from Lv14 to Lv18. Also, I needed to grind Boidoh (Oh god, that sounds horrible) up to Lv20 for the Gym. Even though, I pretty much hardly needed it.

Also my Sinnoh team. I would normally go for the Buizel, but last time, it was really shit. So I decided to hold out and get a Gible instead. Also, I'm getting Rotom now that I have Cut.
