That's it?

:luigi: :yoshi: :wario: :mario: Recently, I got all the stars in Super mario 64 ds and guess what I got for a reward? The grate on the cannon in the courtyard was undone. So I blast to the roof and find three one up mushrooms, A power flower box, and a rabbit if you go up with Luigi. And in Galaxy, if you get all 242 stars, you get a notice on the Wii buletin board with a picture attached to it. I know, playing, doesn't really qualify as work, but I did put a lot of effort into all of that. And the only reason I did it was because I thought something amazing would happen.

When I got all the stars in SM64DS I spent like the rest of the day flying around the castle. The wing cap is the shit. How do you not love that?

Honestly, I never went to the top with Mario because, well, Mario is my least favorite Mario character besides the Mushroom Retainers in Super Mario Bros.

This.

I also used the cannon to shoot the characters straight up in the air so they'd fall in the water. :P

WARNING: ANOTHER COMPLAINT Maybe I was just complaining too much. It's just that I have a short attention span. But I also wish that on the multiplayer mode, you could set it so that it lasts for more than 30 seconds. My friends and I use to have a ton of fun with that.

I'm not so shallow that I need a prize to make me happy that I did something, so I've never experienced that sort of thing.

I'm sorry?

I don't really mind with 64 ds as much because the levels are fun to play through, but with Galaxy you have to play through the entire game twice to get all the stars and a commerotive photo.

Actually, Mama_Luigi brings up a valid point. When I first got 150 stars in that game, and blasted to the top of the castle, I was VERY disappointed. Especially when you consider the fact that catching the green rabbit atop the castle unlocks a mini-game that you already have.

Of course you're going to be disappointed in that, 64DS sucked.

There are some Kirby games in existence that let you see conceptional art of characters and such things if you complete the game with 100%. I always thought of that as a very cool reward. Maybe they could do such a thing for Mario games as well? oo

I personally thought it surpassed the original in almost every way; THAT, however, wasn't one of them.

I agree with you, Something "amazing" should happen but oh well at least you get something a mini-game better then nothing!!!!

well, yeah, it's always disappointing to have a lame reward for ALL THAT. SM64 you can see yoshi, unlock a special jump and fly all you want. SMS, was probably the most disapointing reward of all, you only have a secret ending photo, all that pain in the :bleep: with the blue coins for only that. SM64DS you have fewer rewards and I'm not a big fan of luigi's casino minigames, but at least you can still fly ^^. SMG was, personally, a big disappointment, since the reward is find ALL the 120 stars AGAIN, just with minor changes of gameplay ><, Is that hard to put a superhard level or a superboss, or maybe a worthwhile reward ?
