Hello there, 'Shroom readers! Issue 228 has released!
The ninth round of 'Shroomfest has begun! For the next three weeks, Sparks and I will be debating which springtime animal best captures the hearts of the people - ducks or rabbits? Be sure to check out the 'Shroomfest feature in the issue, then drop by the forum thread to lend support to your chosen team! Just remember to please keep things lighthearted and civil, we know a lot of people get passionate about animals but we're ultimately just here to have some fun.

Coming up in the next couple of months, we'll be celebrating Lakituthequick's 100th issue as Website Manager in May! We're looking upwards for a sky theme, with all the stuff you'd expect like clouds and weather phenomena. Hopefully the Mario franchise has plenty of inspiration, considering how often the plumber's found his head in the clouds, but don't be afraid to think outside of the box for themed sections as well! Also, be sure to check back next month for info on how you can be part of a fun activity for the special.
