Hello there, 'Shroom readers! Can you believe it's November already? Wouldn't be a new month without a new 'Shroom issue, so here's Issue 224! Before we know it, it'll be time for the Holiday Special... but more on that in a bit! We're not just going to gloss over the thing happening in November to shift all our attention to December, that would be silly.
Thank you for all the support you gave to The 'Shroom Spooky Scavenger last month! We worked hard on it so it's really gratifying to see so many people enjoying it. We've included a little wrap-up section in this issue, showcasing all the ghost designs along with their locations hidden behind hover text if you're still missing any and need a little help. The 'Shroom Spooky Scavenger will continue to be playable in Issue 223 for the foreseeable future, so feel free to go back and check it out if you missed it (or just want to replay it)!
In other news, the annual Awards Director Election has started! Are you interested in running the processes of making the Mario Awards happen next year? If you are, now's the time to start working on a campaign! If you're not, head on over anyway and cast a vote for your preferred candidate.
Next month will be our annual Holiday Special, which as a reminder, will be outer space-themed! We've been working on it quite a bit and I can already tell you it's going to be out of this world! If you think you'd like to contribute a special guest section, be sure to contact Meta Knight or one of the team directors and we'll help you out. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is getting a lot of buzz right now, but don't feel like you have to constrain yourself to Mario or even Nintendo - we'll be happy to look at whatever you've got!
