Dorayaki
King Bowser
In some fan discussion, I sometimes see statements like "we need a new Wario Land game now". I know this also means to highlight the need to play Wario in platformer genre, but I think mostly whenever fans suggest new WL game ideas, it feels like they're not always associated with the recent WW titles we have. So I wonder, do Mario/Wario fans generally support both brands? Or some fans actually despise each other because of the difference?

Personally I feel like Bananza is the standard answer to the gap---- DK series once has a gap, but Nintendo managed to give an explanation about the gap and the result comes well, so the gap isn't necessarily a negative fact that cannot be redeeemed.
As for Wario, storywise, I don't think the gap from Wario being a treasure hunter to Indie CEO is that much a gap, it feels like he can casually do both much like Mona applying for lots of parttime jobs in the same time.
In Nintendo's prospective, I think the existing gap comes down to two reasons, first being that WL and WW are not handled by same game teams and Nintendo don't really demand the WW team to take care of the WL contents, second still being that Wario's games in general just doesn't have much official exposure as much as DK's relevant games or franchises in general, so Nintendo don't really want to do the Bananza job for Wario side.
By Bananza example, I really think Nintendo should build a bridge and demand WW to give WL some mention. I absolutely support Captain Syrup and also Waluigi to join WW and that would had been the proper way to extend WL contents. Vice versa, I feel like a potential new WL should also include and suceed WW contents. I think Get It Together sorta proved that WW cast can do a good job in some action or platformer games and WL could be their next stage.
