You know, seeing other people having art threads and having some art of mine own, I, Yoshi the SSM, decided to create one myself. Here, you can see rough sketches of what was seen later. But also, I can post any pictures here that aren't related to scribble or anything else. If you want me to create something, feel free to ask.

Let's go alphabetically. First up is "Another Uncharted Area: Swaying Ruins". This is what the rough sketch looks like:
Another Uncharted Area! Swaying Ruins Base.png

And here is the final product:
Another Uncharted Area! Swaying Ruins.png

Since this is the first one that I am doing, I will need to first explain the stick figure with a question mark. It is a character that I don't know who it will be quite yet. If it has a letter, then I know who it is. As for the actual design, you see that what has changed was the Clock from Clockworks Ruins Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy 2 didn't make it. Instead, I added the background stuff from the level. Other than that, you can actually see the design in the final which I just make words in the sketch. And I often use references when doing these. Here are the references used for the level.

I am including all images that I used even if they end up going unused. Also, if you want to see the reference to the characters that signed up, see this link.

Up next is "Bulrush Coming Through" Here is the sketch:
Bulrush Coming Through Base.png

And here is what the final image:
Bulrush Coming Through.png

As you can see, this was planned to have a full 3D effect from the start. And you can see that I added the clouds, the sun, and the flagpole since the sketch. You can also see that I also didn't go for the hands on the head for the ? character in the end. Now for the references:
Bulrush Coming Through R1.JPGBulrush Coming Through R2.JPGBulrush Coming Through R3.JPGBulrush Coming Through R4.JPG

Now for "Color-Switch Dungeon". Here is the sketch:
Color-Switch Dungeon Base.png

And here is the final image:
Color-Switch Dungeon.png

As you can see, in the early stages, there was a mirror. However, the direction the mirror was more diagonal. The reason was to make it easier to tell that it was indeed mirrored. However, I kept the notes the same. Also, since I got two different references for the character, I decided on doing both. Though with one being another color from what the color I saw on the reference. One thing that you might see is that the red thing with lines didn't get transfer. That is because I simply forgot to change the color. Anyways. Now for the references:

Now onto "High-Voltage Gauntlet". This one is different, as it has two bases. First the unused base image:
High-Voltage Gauntlet Base.png

As you can see, this was based around the level itself. However, something I noticed about the level is that it was dark. That is why I ended up going with this other base image:
High-Voltage Gauntlet Galaxy 2 Base.png

And here is the final image for comparison:
High-Voltage Gauntlet.png

Key differences are the added Mechakoopa, the added barrier seen in Bowser's Gravity Gauntlet, the added movement lines, and the character being on the other platform. Now for the references:
High-Voltage Gauntlet Galaxy 2 R.pngHigh-Voltage Gauntlet R1.JPGHigh-Voltage Gauntlet R2.JPGHigh-Voltage_Gauntlet Level R.jpg
As you can see, the reason for the yellow outline was because of these references having what I perceive as a yellow light behind the character.

Next is "Hot-Hot Hot!" Here is the base:
Hot-Hot Hot! Base.png

And here is the final image:
Hot-Hot Hot!.png

So, yeah. I chose I different part of the level than what my base was. I decided to use the place near the wonder effect place as I thought it was a better place. And it provided an idea for the background. I mean, take a look at the references:
Hot-Hot Hot! R1.JPGHot-Hot Hot! R2.JPGHot-Hot Hot! R3.JPGHot-Hot Hot! R4.JPGHot-Hot Hot! R5.JPGHot-Hot Hot! R6.JPG
You can see that the image I used for the main drawing has twisting scales which makes an interesting background. But other than that, the character fanning themselves is still consistent. Finally, I need to reference the character I used. This was made by BBQ Turtle:
Hot-Hot Hot! Yoshi the SSM R.png
I decided on using the construction hat for fanning as it was a much bigger object than a hand and thus made more sense to use.

For "Light Switch Mansion", it has an interesting base:
Light Switch Mansion Base.png

This is the only one where the base uses black first and white as the outline of the image. All others are white first and black as the outline. Here is the final image:
Light Switch Mansion.png

The differences are stairstep floor instead of flat, the doors of the level being on a chandelier instead of the floor, and light coming from the light sources instead of the window. Now for the references:
Light Switch Mansion R1.JPGLight Switch Mansion R2.JPGLight Switch Mansion R3.JPGLight Switch Mansion R4.JPGLight Switch Mansion R5.JPG

I decided to do two since there aren't that many images each. First, "Maw-Maw Mouthful". Here is the base:
Maw-Maw Mouthful Base.png

And here is the final image:
Maw-Maw Mouthful.png

You might notice that the ? character became a Goomba and the ? character was moved to the top right. And since it is a Boo, it makes you wonder whether if this is like an origin story, or just the Boo becoming a Goomba for a time. Other than that, you will notice a lot more details in the background. Now for the references:

Maw-Maw Mouthful R1.JPGMaw-Maw Mouthful R2.JPGMaw-Maw Mouthful R3.JPG
And that is Maw-Maw Mouthful complete. Now for "Muncher Fields". Here is the base:
Muncher Fields Base.png

And here is the final image:
Muncher Fields.png

As you can see, it is 2D rather than 3D in the base. And that is because I felt the 2D felt better to work with. There are also a Melon Piranha and a Muncher here amongst the Munchers. And the Bowser is very prominent in this level, so that is why it is there. That thing in the top left is a pipe that I added to give another background detail. Now for the references. Note that the Semi-Solids have the color of without the wonder effect because I didn't think the silhouette design would be gone for making the art:
Muncher Fields R1.JPGMuncher Fields R2.JPGMuncher Fields R3.JPGMuncher Fields R4.JPG

Now onto "Ninji Jump Party". Here is the base:
Ninji Jump Party Base.png

And here is the final image:
Ninji Jump Party.png

As you can see, while you can't see the ceiling, the disco (piranha plant) ball is still at the top of the screen. You might also see some JUMP mats to the side that weren't included. Note that the pillar and fences are background details that I added. Now onto the references. First, I was not given an image reference in the sign-up thread, but a written one. And that was Baby Mario with the Wing Cap with the J as being option (note that I also made a version where it had an "M" instead of a "J" before remembering this detail and is the only one to have multiple versions that isn't moving the number to fit a 3x3 grid which came later in the development of the presentation than some images were made). With that said, I found my own references to the written reference:
Ninji Jump Party Baby Mario for BMfan08 R1.pngNinji Jump Party Baby Mario for BMfan08 R2.pngNinji Jump Party Wing Cap for BMfan08 R.png
As you can see, I used the middle one for the jumping pose that it uses. Now onto the level references:

After this next one, we will be halfway through. And it is "Piranha Plants on Parade". And this is another that had multiple bases. Here is the first base that I came up with:
Piranha Plants on Parade Base.png

This is actually taken from a scene in the level. Later on, I created these two:
Piranha Plants on Parade Rose Base.png
Piranha Plants on Parade Rose Base Alternate.png

I created two because I didn't know which way to go. Anyways. Here is a
This became the secret message
. Now for the actual base that I used:
Piranha Plants on Parade Base Alternate.png

And here is the final image for reference:
Piranha Plants on Parade.png

I came up with this idea before I knew the results. But I did it because this thought came into my mind: what if it got first place. And it did. Anyways. Let's go through this. I decided on hills instead of buildings is because the hills fit more with the level than the buildings. You might also notice that there is no crowd. It is just a Talking Flower saying his line from the level. This is because I ended up wanting to just do one person per image. You might also notice the unknown figure has been removed. And thus, there are no strings. This is because I thought that the cloud Piranha Plant would be better for the image. As a matter of fact, I included many different Piranha Plants even though they don't appear in the level. As for the design of the float, I made it have the Piranha Plant icon and also have Warp Pipes because that is what Piranha Plants are known for. I also added the fences from Ninji Jump Party because that looked like a good thing to make a separation you typically see at parades. Now for the references:
Piranha Plants on Parade Base R.pngPiranha Plants on Parade R1.JPGPiranha Plants on Parade R2.JPG
And here is the Arc reference for historical preservation:
Piranha Plants on Parade Arc R.png

Now that we are past the halfway point with these, it is now time for "Secrets of Shova Mansion". Here is the base:
Secrets of Shova Mansion Base.png

And here is the final image:
Secrets of Shova Mansion.png

As you can see, the statue is very big because that was one of the options that I tested. The other reason why is because it looked more like the level itself with the Bowser statue reaching the ceiling in the actual game. As for the plushy, I added it and put it on the ground because I thought that Sparks would set the plushy, being held in the reference, down. Now for the references:
Secrets of Shova Mansion R1.JPGSecrets of Shova Mansion R2.JPGSecrets of Shova Mansion R3.JPGSecrets of Shova Mansion R4.JPG

Next is "Sproings in the Twilight Forest". Here is the base:
Sproings in the Twilight Forest Base.png

And here is the final image:
Sproings in the Twilight Forest.png

As you can see, if you thought Ninji Squid looks a little tall here, that was the intent that I wanted to do. But I have Ninji Squid kind of hiding behind the tree instead of next to the Sproing is because I thought it would suit Ninji Squid better to be hiding to observe these tall Sproings. You might also notice that I also made more than one tree type as well as adding a tall Goomba. You might also notice that the ground isn't dark. Now onto the references:
Sproings in the Twilight Forest R1.JPGSproings in the Twilight Forest R2.JPGSproings in the Twilight Forest R3.JPGSproings in the Twilight Forest R4.JPGSproings in the Twilight Forest R5.JPGSproings in the Twilight Forest R6.JPG
Now as for the color of the Sproings, you can find that out on the Super Mario Wiki's Sproing page.

We start the ones that start with "The" with "The Desert Mystery". Here is the base:
The Desert Mystery Base.png

And here is the final image:
The Desert Mystery.png

As you can see, I went from the 3D design to the 2D again. You might also notice that I detailed the pyramid. And it looks it does in the final image because it uses the design from the level instead of a typical pyramid. As for the map, I didn't think that a cat would be holding a map and thus I went with the next best thing and made TheBlueCatMenace thinking about the map. I also made a big X at the entrance to show more clearly where the entrance is. Now for the references:
The Desert Mystery R1.JPGThe Desert Mystery R2.JPGThe Desert Mystery R3.JPGThe Desert Mystery R4.JPGThe Desert Mystery R5.JPGThe Desert Mystery R6.JPG

"The" next one is "The Final Battle: Bowser's Rage Stage". Here is the base:
The Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage Base.png

And here is the final image:
The Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage.png

As you can see, the dance off idea that was early on in the planning phase never did happen. Neither did the light. And if you think I didn't add any castle details, well there is a background detail from the level, but it isn't that much. What was added was the fiery note Piranha Plants. This is because I wanted the focus to be the Bowser from this level. Now for the references:
The Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage R1.JPGThe Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage R2.JPGThe Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage R3.JPGThe Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage R4.JPGThe Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage R5.JPGThe Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage R6.JPGThe Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage R7.JPG

As for this next "the" of "The Final Test Wonder Gauntlet", I came up with this early on:
The Final Test Wonder Gauntlet Base.png

And it turned into this:
The Final Test Wonder Gauntlet.png

As you can see, combining the level with the Gauntlet (link to Super Mario Wiki for references of the enemies there) from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story was the theming for the idea that I came up with and it stayed in the final image. But you might notice some things were added and some others were moved. The things that were added were because of more research. The things that were moved were because of thinking that these would be better in different places. For instance, instead of being bottom heavy with the big bosses, I decided to have them in the follow way: top, left, right, and bottom. Now onto the references and there is a lot besides what you can see in the Gauntlet page. As a matter of fact, this has the most references from Super Mario Bros. Wonder:
The Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R1.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R2.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R3.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R4.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R5.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R6.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R7.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R8.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R9.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R10.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R11.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R12.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R13.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R14.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R15.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R16.JPGThe Final Test Wonder Gauntlet R17.JPG
That was 17 images right there. But there is more. To get the battle pose just right, I used this:
The Final Test Wonder Gauntlet Mario Battle R.png

Up next is "The Final-Final Test Badge Marathon". Here is the best:
The Final-Final Test Badge Marathon Base.png

And here is the final image:
The Final-Final Test Badge Marathon.png

As you can see, the idea of combining the challenge levels of Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario 3D Land, Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario Odyssey, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder was an early idea that stayed until the final image. This is because it is hard to grasp the level into one singular image and have it not be kind of like what Waluigi Time did last year. And the only changed that was made was the badges are in two rows instead of one. Now for the references in game order:
The Final-Final Test Badge Marathon Grandmaster Galaxy R.pngThe Final-Final Test Badge Marathon Special 8 Crown R.pngThe Final-Final Test Badge Marathon Lucky Cat Switch R.pngThe Final-Final Test Badge Marathon Lucky Cat Wii U R.pngThe Final-Final Test Badge Marathon Darker Side R.pngThe Final-Final Test Badge Marathon Space R.pngThe Final-Final Test Badge Marathon RC.png

Now past the two final levels, it is now time for "The Hoppy Cat Trial: Hop, Hop, and Awaaay". Here is the base:
The Hoppycat Trial! Hop, Hop, and Awaaay Base.png

And here is the final image:
The Hoppycat Trial! Hop, Hop, and Awaaay.png

While not entirely exactly the same, the core idea of the character jumping stayed the same. Even if the cape didn't make it in the end. But the design of this was based more on the level than just random platforms. And I also didn't add any clouds, but that was optional anyways. Now for the references:
The Hoppycat Trial! Hop, Hop, and Awaaay R1.JPGThe Hoppycat Trial! Hop, Hop, and Awaaay R2.JPGThe Hoppycat Trial! Hop, Hop, and Awaaay R3.JPG
And that wasn't a lot of references. How about doing the final "The" with "The Semifinal Test Piranha Plant Reprise". Like Light Switch Mansion, the base wasn't planned out until after I got the results. Speaking of the base, here it is:
The Semifinal Test Piranha Plant Reprise Base.png

And here is the final image:
The Semifinal Test Piranha Plant Reprise.png

Now besides Arc, everyone got random positions. So with Waluigi Time, the one who did it last year, getting this one, I decided that he talk about having another Piranha Plant Parade instead of having the redo symbol. That then lead to the Pirnaha Plant responding with his line, which references the song name in the Nintendo Music app. As for the Bullet Bills, I moved them below because that is something the level does different than the normal way of Bullet Bills. And to replace that spot, I decided on some pipes with Spikes throwing spiked balls. I also added a Gamboo and some background trees and vines from the level as well as Waluigi Time's symbol in the trees and remove the wind. Now onto the references:

Coming up now is "Upshroom Downshroom". Here is the base:
Upshroom Downshroom Base.png

And here is the final image:
Upshroom Downshroom.png

As you can see, there were some mushrooms that ended up not making it to the final image. The other changes are these: the ? character is not jumping because I just wanted the Ninji Jump Party to have that. So, I moved the ? character to the right shroom. And because the ? character was move to the right shroom, the pumpkin moved to the left and became multiple. Also, no mushroom is 3D and it the background mushrooms have changed so that there is a central one. Now for the reference:
Upshroom Downshroom R1.JPGUpshroom Downshroom R2.JPGUpshroom Downshroom R3.JPGUpshroom Downshroom R4.JPGUpshroom Downshroom R5.JPGUpshroom Downshroom R6.JPGUpshroom Downshroom R7.JPG

And finally, we have "Welcome to the Flower Kingdom". Here is the base:
Welcome to the Flower Kingdom Base.png

And here is the final image:
Welcome to the Flower Kingdom.png

As you can see, it didn't change that much in the end. Although, the pipe from the level is now beneath the Talking Flower because of the background detail where it was at. Also, the text is now "Onward and Upward" from the first Talking Flower in the entire game. I also moved the Bouncy Bloom a little left. Now for the references:
Welcome to the Flower Kingdom R1.JPGWelcome to the Flower Kingdom R2.JPGWelcome to the Flower Kingdom R3.JPGWelcome to the Flower Kingdom Bouncy Bloom R.pngWelcome to the Flower Kingdom Prince Florian R.png
And as for FWD said the guy from Scribble but didn't provide an image, but did say that an image could be provided. So, I decided to do my own research and here are the references that I used:
Welcome to the Flower Kingdom Fun With Despair R2.pngWelcome to the Flower Kingdom Fun With Despair R.png

Seeing Winstein doing his Scribble on his art thread. I decided to do mine in my art thread as well. Of course, I need to do the Vs. rounds first since some of the challenges rounds take inspiration from the Vs. rounds. So with that, let's get started.

Round 1: GAME OVER
One's Victory is Another's Game Over.png
When I saw the prompt, I quickly came up with the conclusion of tying it with the challenge (which was Victory). However, that required that the character must either be unique or be inspired from something generic. And with this in mind, I look for something generic to base the scribble off of. And one of the things that I thought of was that in the Mario Kart World version of Dino Dino Jungle, there were some dinosaurs. And they seem pretty generic as well. Yes. That means that the one that is defeated was supposed to be this:
1V T Rex R.png
Now given that this T-Rex was supposed to be defeated, I put him in the flat position on the floor. I also remove the purple stuff on the head to make it more generic. As for the scenery, I decided to keep this Dino Dino Jungle theme for it. You can also see what the white thing above the T-Rex is supposed to be from the spoiler image (it is the object to the right of the T-Rex's lower jaw in the spoiler). And of course, the small Victory! referencing the challenge prompt. More on that when I do the challenge prompts.

Round 2: Sealed Underground
Definitely Not the Banandium Root.png
I knew that it would probably be predictable given you knew this:
K. Rool was sealed underground in Donkey Kong Bananza. The title even references Void Kong thinking K. Rool being the Banandium Root.
However, what I wanted to add very early on was Void Kong. And there was so much detail. I mean, take a look:
2V Void Kong R.png
The image is backwards because that is what looked easier to copy. And also, the rock that didn't make it to the final image was looking in the correct direction this way. And with him and K. Rool taking a lot of time to draw, I needed to add some details quickly. So, I decided to add not only some simple rocks with shadows as well as rocks without shadows above and Void Kong's shadow, but also some long dark clouds to add something so that the image didn't look like it empty on the bottom of the image.

Round 3: New and Improved
Waddle Dee Wheel.png
Now, for round 2, I wanted thought of the idea of having something from Kirby. However, the two prompts didn't make this ideal. But luckily, this prompt had this Kirby idea available since Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World was a new and improved version that released on August 28 of this year. But that wasn't going to be enough to bring this idea of new and improved. So, I decided on doing this:
3V Water Park Wheel R.png
And so, the idea was to take the Wario Wheel and make it into the Waddle Dee Wheel. I was thinking about adding some detail to the wheel, however, this detail wasn't looking quite right to me and so I removed it. And seeing where it placed when looking at all my images, there is something I need to do going forward: change up the design of several things like water, grass, tree leaves, clouds, and maybe even stars.

Round 4: "IT'S PIZZA TIME! HOT DOGS OR BURGERS?" - THE DANK GOOMBA
He Was Thinking About Chips.png
Now how did I overcome this kind of a prompt. I was trying to think about it and decided to grab some chips to my left (at the time of drawing, not the time I first read the round 4 challenge prompt). And they were the PringlesTM Pizza chips. And then it hit me. Typically, when someone says pizza, you would think like this Koopa Troopa in this image. However, these PringlesTM Pizza chips were something that would go well with both hot dogs and burgers. And so, I decided to look at the Mario Wiki for some inspiration for those two things. And I found Hot Dog (item) and Magma Burger, which is a hot burger. Thus, I knew that Hot should be between the two items. Now what I did some time before making the image was the only time that I did this for the Vs. rounds:
4V IT'S PIZZA TIME! HOT DOGS OR BURGERS THE DANK GOOMBA Base.png
Yeah, what I did with the Super Mario Bros. Wonder presentation levels, I did with this prompt. Now I say Vs. rounds because I did some for the challenge rounds that I will show them when going through the challenge prompts. Now, when I drew the Goomba, I thought to myself. He is a little big isn't he. And then I decided to embrace this bigness by changing the Koopa Troopa's dialog from the base to match this big Goomba.

Round 5: Fame and Fortune
THE Wonderful Treasure.png
When thinking about possible ideas, I thought about the famous Captain Toad and that he first appeared in Super Mario Galaxy. But what about the setting? Well, I decided on doing this based off of WONDER? because of the Super Mario Bros. Wonder presentation levels because when I made a list of potential levels that could have appeared in the presentation (before I knew for sure). And there I came across that WONDER? might be considered a level? Doesn't matter. It was something to go off of. Just needed to change the dialog of the Talking Flower to say, "YOU ARE A LEGENDARY TREASURE TRACKER!" Now this Captain Toad was so good that it became an emoji called "treasure" in the Mario Awards Discord. So, I think I better show off this reference that I used:
5V Captain Toad R2.png
Now if you can see what the image is called when you hover, you may ask why R2? Well, I have this even if it went unused in the end:
5V Captain Toad R1.png

Round Omega: A GOOD WAY TO SPEND THE SUMMER
9V Summer Sports.png
This took a while to get my idea and the references to this idea. However, the idea that I wanted will be seen when doing the challenge prompts. But it turns out, I didn't have time to make it into a scribble within the two hours after coming up with the idea and the references to this idea. Although, it didn't help that about 20 minutes was wasted getting some ice cream (another way this prompt could have been fulfilled, thinking about it long afterwards). And why 20 minutes? Because it took some travel time to get to the ice cream place, only to find out that what we wanted to get wasn't available and we didn't want to get anything else and thus when we got home, I decided to get some ice cream from the freezer. I knew that this could happened, but I wasn't entirely sure that it was going to happen. So, if there is a lesson, make sure you have the time to do the prompt. Especially since I was rushed to get the golf section made and I sent this image with seconds to spare. I didn't even have time to give some details about the image like I did with the other images. All I did was the title of the image because I had seconds left.

Now, let's see how the Vs. rounds did when compared to each other:

As you can see, "THE Wonderful Treasure" came out on top. However, "He Was Thinking About Chips" was a close second only behind by a few points. "Definitely Not the Banandium Root" earned a decent 3rd place and "One's Victory is Another's Game Over" earned 4th place. And "Waddle Dee Wheel" and "Summer Sports" were tied for last place. But I guess there are some that thought those were good as they just missed the double digits the others got.

Now onto the Challenge rounds.

Round 0: Magical Artifact
Trapped for Seven Years.png
Having little idea on what object to do, I turned to the Super Mario Wiki and looked at the Category of Artifacts. And there, I found the Banana Mirror, which was based on the common household object of a handheld mirror. With this in mind, I decided to create...
0 Challenge Base.png
As you can see, everything from the base made it into the final image. The only thing not in the base but is in the final is the shadows. As for why the mirror is broken. It is because of the saying, "If you break a mirror, you will get seven bad years of luck", which also made the reference to the title but instead of bad luck, it is being trapped. And this kind of had a tie to my safety idea because while breaking a mirror might not give you seven years of bad luck, it is dangerous to break a mirror since it will leave glass everywhere which can hurt you. But some time afterwards, I decided not to pursue this safety idea as I had to explain why for everyone some time afterwards.

Round 1: Victory
1C Victory.png
Now while I had a new OC that has never been seen before (second part), it violated the rules as it was a Yoshi. Yeah, you heard right. Duke Mulberry was created in my mind before TriAnt. So, what was the inspiration for TriAnt. Well, reading the rules, I decided before doing the Vs. Scribble of that round that I wanted to do an ant and will add a design to it. And after I completed my Vs. Scribble, I knew it would be based off of a Triceratops. Which, while was in a Mario game, I changed it so that it wasn't exactly like it looks like in Mario Kart World. In other words, it was based off a Triceratops that just happens to be in a Mario game that isn't necessary a Mario species. Now if I knew that TriAnt would have been orange, I would have made the dot of the Vs. Scribble orange as well. Oh well. At least I corrected it later. One last thing. Originally, TriAnt had all six feet (we only see three in the image, but it should be double because we are looking at it from one side) on the ground. However, to make sure of the Victory condition, I decided to raise the two front feet to be above the head to give more emphasis on the victory part.

Round 2: A Secret Land
Grand Minus Galaxy.png
Now while this round was before the Nintendo Direct which had Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 announced as well as the title of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie being revealed, remember, they have Super Mario Galaxy as an option in Nintendo Music. And that is where the idea came from: doing Grand Finale Galaxy as that is a secret land as you visit it once at the beginning of the game and never again (not even for Luigi's campaign) until after collecting 120 stars as Luigi. And so, I first decide that since this is a big area, to do this:
2C Secret Place Plan Phase.png
As you can see, the colors were established very early on. Especially since of the additional challenge of making things not typical colors. Now with this in mind, I decided to work on this:

As you can see, this lacks all the details of the final image, but other than that, it remains the same. As for the title, I decided on the Grand Minus Galaxy because...
Grand Plus Galaxy.png
Some things look normal. Not everything, but things like the castle and the lake and the Star Bunny look normal. The ground might look a little weird, but this is because I was basing the colors off of the colors established by the Super Mario Bros. Wonder presentation.

Round 3: Black and White
Onomatopoeia! The Conflict! The Story! The Comic.png
Now I designed this to not be exactly like Loss' design, but you can still find similarities to Loss' design. Now, what made me do everything as Onomatopoeia? Well, it didn't start out this way. You see, after making my Vs. Scribble, I decided that I should tell a story about it afterwards. And this was what the idea originally was (with Onomatopoeia being added after I settled on the idea of everything being Onomatopoeia):
3C Comic Base.png
Now as for the inspiration of Astonomer Shy Guy being in a Shy Guy disguise was because of this profile post. Now as for why I decided on everything being an Onomatopoeia, I thought it would be a cool challenge to do and see if it was possible with my story that I created. And looking at my image... yeah. Good thing I decided that. The final stuff was way bigger than what I planned with the base art. I don't think I could have fit my story in the space that I had.

Round 4: Don't Draw Anything
4CA Cool Scott the Woz.png
4CB Picnic on a Green Sleeping Bag.png
Now this prompt had a lot of conditions to it. So, I better give you this:
SCRIBBLE A

CONDITIONS

· Must not include the sky. (done as this is a wall)

ü Image must include the moon. (thought bubble)

ü Hide a smiling cloud somewhere in your image. (part of the stuff heading to the thought bubble)

ü Must include a character facing PoV. (Scott the Woz)

ü Include a rabbit within your image. (Pocky from the Sonic series)

ü There must be a mermaid. (Mermaid from TLOZ:LA. Note that the scales go up to the neck in my image.)

ü The scribble must include a thought bubble...... (from Scott the Woz)

ü Your scribble must include Scott Wozniak/Scott the Woz. (yes)

ü Must somewhere include the iconic graffiti character of "Kilroy". (yes)

ü Must not contain any Mario characters or references to the Mario franchise. (as much as I would like to, but there is a Nintendo character via TLOZ series as well as a Sega character via Sonic series)

ü Must contain a large region of one entirely single colour, no other colors mixed in. (top left)

ü ALL eyes in the scribble must be covered by sunglasses. (the eyes can still be seen though)

ü Scribble must include a detailed human face. (Scott the Woz)

Substitute (can replace one of the above conditions)

(X) Instead, your scribble must include an object from Round 0's Challenge, OR a character from Round 1's Challenge

SCRIBBLE B

CONDITIONS

● Must incorporate the object immediately to your left when you read this. (done) (sleeping bag as that was the object that fulfilled this when I first read it.)

ü Must include your favourite Mario character. (Yoshi)

ü Every character must be a bird. (bodies)

ü Must draw at least one character wearing a Susan Boyle shirt (REP THE QUEEN). (on Bart)

ü Include a character eating something. (Bird Seed Cookie)

(X) ANY CHARACTERS DEPICTED MUST BE USING A FIREARM.

ü Include a character T-posing somewhere in the scribble. (Bart)

ü Must draw a dapper Poochy. (Bow tie)

ü Cannot draw anime girls. (All boys except Susan who isn't anime)

ü Must have a construction hat. (Me)

ü Drawing must include a party hat🥳 (Poochy)

ü Drawing must include a reference to The Simpsons. (Bart)

ü There has to be a perfect circle clearly visible as part of the piece. (traditional artists could trace over a bowl or plate or some such, digital artists could just use the circle tool, you can draw around it or through it but the circle must be legible). (two are here: one as Yoshi's nose and the other the plate)

Substitute (can replace one of the above conditions)

ü Instead, your scribble must include one flora/fauna from Round 2's Challenge, OR include one onomatopoeia from Round 3's Challenge (Star Bunny from my Round 2 Challenge)

If you see a (X), that means that it isn't used. For Scribble A, that means that it doesn't use a substitute. For Scribble B, the substitute replaces the one with (X). Now for the titles. Scribble A is "Cool Scott the Woz" and Scribble B is "Picnic on a Green Sleeping Bag".
I say specifically when I read that item for the first time because I was in my chair in my room when I first read that thing. And the object to my left when I am sitting in my chair in my room is my bed which have a green sleeping bag on it. I did the Scribble in a different room, so that is why I need to specify. But I chose that object because I liked the idea of what I could do with it: having a picnic on it like it was grass, but it is not as it has lines and no grass design. Now having the option of either doing birds or doing guns, I tried the gun option first, seeing if I liked it. And when I didn't, I decided to make everything a bird. And since I liked this idea, I kept it. Now when it came to the first image, I didn't do the option of the substitute. But if I did, I couldn't use either option unless I used someone else's for that as both broke the rule "Must not contain any Mario characters or references to the Mario franchise." As even though Triceratops aren't seen as a Mario character, they do still reference the Mario franchise because of Dino Dino Jungle in Mario Kart World having a Triceratops.

Round 5: Personal Development
Zigzag Lava Lair.png
Gumbo Beginnings.png
Having done all 7 main Scribbles from the first tournament as well as having two other Scribbles (one of myself and the other having GBA Toad), I had 16 options to choose from (I say 16 options since the 7 main Scribbles had both a prompt and a title and thus two options each). That being said, I have done a sequel to one of them before (that being "King Boo Mirror" being a sequel to "Boo Mirror"). Now I end up decided on doing Lava since that was my first Scribble round (not Scribble image because of the one of myself being first) and redoing that entirely. And with that idea, I first made this:
5C Gumbo Beginnings Base.png
Oh. And the Goomba, that ended up being unused. I just forgot that Goomba. So, this is almost having every other Scribble in this had I remembered the Goomba from "He Was Thinking About Chips?!?" But this does have the Captain Toad from "THE Wonderful Treasure" as I made the base after I made that image. But as you can see, I corrected TriAnt to be Red (as I had that instead of Orange). As for the reason for why I chose Celestial Blue as the other color, there were two reasons: 1. it felt like a good contrasting color to use with the default red of paint that I had in the original tournament and 2. I original chose default red because that was an easy color to access without adding it to my wheel. However, after a time when I got a new computer, I found that a way to be able to add colors via hex. And so, I been using that for all tournaments afterwards (as it happened during a tournament). And since I have found that since the first tournament, I decided to showcase this by adding Celestial Blue.

Round Omega 1: Word Hunt
Word Hunt x Treetop Tumble.png
As part of the thing for the Secret Scribble, I submitted Nintendo Music. Wanting to give it a go and to keep it fair for me, I used random.org to determine the game, and after some calculations, I found out it was Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! (Nintendo Music). I then decided to do it again. And it gave me "Boss Boogie". Not feeling of doing that, I decided to look the others in the game and found Treetop Tumble. Now, I also did this as a normal word hunt, and this is what it looked like:
Word Hunt (Solved).png
And thus, the Treetop Tumble version was just copying with my eyes with the full color and the tree trunks to the side.

Round Omega 2: Coloring Page
Coloring Page.png
Now I didn't know where to get crayons for myself. However, when looking, I found some markers. However, I would not only need to ask GBA Toad if I could use them, but I would also have needed to ask my mom if they were something I could use. However, since I could do this digitally, I decided to do that. And because I was doing it digitally, I needed to try my best to do it as I would physically. So, I looked at the crayon marker in paint and the lowest it could go was 4px. And thus, to make sure that there were no extra colors via me, I set the pen tool to 4px. Now, the colors that I chose were found on Wikipedia for the 8-color set. As for the retro look, I decided to go that way because of the recent direct having a segment for Mario's 40th anniversary which has some retro colors. The only decision I kind of regret was not continuing the brown to cover everything else. I decided on the border because I thought it would clash with the brown that is next to the white. Of course, it also took some chunk of time to do this coloring page, so it would have also taken more time to do this idea. That said, with this having 0 points for the challenge votes, that is something that might have made a difference.

Round Omega 3: Anything Goes
9C Summer Sports.png
So, you might be wondering where "New Trace Mode" came from. And that was not making it clear the title I wanted back then was "Summer Sports Deluxe" and I started the paragraph explaining the image talking about the New Trace Mode at the top. But why did I want "Summer Sports Deluxe"? Because I wanted something that could be a prompt for a future Scribble tournament as "New Trace Mode" or something similar couldn't work at face value (which is also why I also rejected the idea of "Summer Sports (5 color edition)" to reference Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Nintendo Switch edition) with New Funky Mode being on the box). But in either case, "New Trace Mode" (I can still call it that since it is in the top-left corner of the image) was based on the fact that the rule I broke for this was the tracing rule. And this idea came late in the construction of the image. Now what I first did when I saw this challenge and after I completed my Vs. Scribble was to make this:
9C Summer Sports R.png
This was the idea of what I wanted "Summer Sports" to look like when I first came up with it and didn't have time for. Now, this is obviously more than 5 colors. But instead of having GBA Toad to make this image into five colors, I decided to do it myself. Especially since I wanted to make sure what colors were where in the final image. However, to trace the image, I first did this:
9C Summer Sports T.png
This tracing still violated the 5 colors maximum rule. But I did it to help trace the reference image. And it was after I converted this to the five colors rule that I decided to add the New Trace Mode at the top left. But that was still a trace. And not wanting to redo the images with this new idea, I just didn't do it. But in either case, I did a trace of the New Funky Mode artwork from Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze (Nintendo Switch edition) box art. And the lettering was a trace of Ariel Black lettering that I put there myself. One last thing, if you compare this to "Summer Sports", you can understand why the no tracing rule exists.

Now, let's see how the Challenge rounds did when compared to each other:

As you can see, "New Trace Mode" came out on top. But is that because the title is "New Trace Mode" instead of "Summer Sports Deluxe"? But that is a wrap up on Scribble Circuit.
