Mario & Sonic is dead

I'm sure Nintendo and SEGA will team up again in the future. Honestly, rather than an olympics games, I'd prefer seeing an adventure story game featuring a crossover of both Mario and Sonic characters to defeat an original villain, sort of like they did for Mario + Rabbids games.
