Ponyo

Slow down there Jimmy, did you just go from "it's merely drawn porn" to "you should still be in trouble for it"?
Both of those can still go together.

...Wow. No.

Fuck you.

I was members of three anime clubs. I left two and got kicked from the third when the US government learned about the contents of my harddrive. It's not child porn dammit, we're not in Canada or that other country.

Especially when you're only like a couple years older than the girls in the pictures.

You're retarded.

Yes, I came out of retirement just because of the stupidity of your message.

I bet I can make him back again sometime in the future. :retarded:

I am a big fan of the Hayo Miazaki film series, although this one looks sort of wierd, but there's a chance I may watch it.

Alright all Studio Ghibli films are wierd but in a good way, look at Castle in the Sky, Howl's moving castle, Kiki's delivery service, and Nausica: Valley of the wind.

It's for little kids, and looks downright odd. No way am I watching it.
I laughed when I saw that these two posts were next to each other. XD

If they managed to pull in that many famous people -- who are actually good actors, (excluding the Jonas bitch) -- it's probably not that bad.

I'm not saying that I'll actually watch it, I'm just saying that 9 times out of 10, something has to have a rather intriguing storyline to pull in that many big names.

That or the actors were paid a boatload of money. Considering hollywood these days, I think money's the cause.

It's a possibility (at least for some of the actors in there), but I still stand by my original theory.

Everyone has an onion.
Mmm, onions.

I saw it a day after it was released since I happened to be in Japan at the time.

I liked it. (Well, there isn't really such a thing as a Miyazaki Hayao film that I don't like, of course)

I really hate trailers online where they say like "Disney's Ponyo" or "Walt Disney Picture's present a Hayao Miyazaki film"

Yeah me too.

I hate how people talk about it as "oh, that new Disney movie?"

It's not a Disney movie, dangit!

And distributed, but still.

(In Japan, it's Toho)

That's correct.

(Toho seems like they distribute everything in Japan; if not, a majority)

I'm sorry...are you telling me you guys watched Ponyo?

Also, do you mean Toho Studios, as in the ones that do "Majide" in "I Survived A Japanese Game Show"?

P.S.: 1700 Posts

Ralph, if you don't know anything about the subject, then don't go off topic/tell everybody about your post count/Studio Ghibli is definitely NOT a sub-division of Toho/posting false information, etc, etc.

The only thing you should be sorry about is for not scrolling up 5 posts to find the answer to that question.

First of all, there's no such thing as "Toho Studios." Even if there was, it's irrelevant to the topic subject.

1700 Posts
This is the "Ponyo" thread in the General Entertainment board. Not a thread for you to brag about your post count.
