Changing a games antagonist.

The title speaks for itself. How would a game change if a different character became the antagonist. I do have to point out that this isn't meant to be better, but is simply a fun thought experiment.

So, you're supposed to swap a game's antagonist with another game's antagonist or do you just swap the game's antagonist with a different character from the same game, regardless of that character being a hero, supporting character or another antagonist?

both is ok.

Depends on the context of the game. Thats all I can say really.

Yeah, some games are meant to have rotating casts. If a villain has such a strong presence in the franchise like Bowser, then I don't think we should change it, but games like Legend of Zelda see a lot of different villains even if Ganon is like the *main* one.
