When viewing posts that "ping" or mention other people, code will show up that says something like USER=9999 with a four digit number replacing 9999. Out of curiosity, I wanted to see which numbers had been assigned to various people, following my theory of them being assigned in chronological order. Unfortunately, I can't figure out a way to see these numbers without actually pinging anyone, as I'd rather not get banned for pinging 100 people lol

Any ideas on how to do this?

I'm pretty sure these numbers correspond to the numbers in the URL for a user's profile.
So, for example, if I click on your profile, the URL has "members/6748/" in it.
And thus, your number is 6478.

So you can just click on profiles and look at the URL.

(I believe they are determined by chronological order of joining, yeah.)

What you could do is ping yourself with your own user number, then edit different numbers in and click it. Pings don't ping if you edit them in, only if you post the post with the ping in it, so you could do that.
