Can't upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10

Pretty sure the period for upgrading for free from Windows 7 to Windows 10 ended a few years ago,

What does the error say? Can you provide a screenshot?

How are you trying to do it? Are you following a guide? I'd suggest backing everything up first, then wiping the hard drive and starting fresh.
