No offense or anything, but to be blunt... it could use a bit of work; the eyes in his mask should be rounded out to look less like jagged, the style clashes with the current set of Mario smileys (the outline should be black and not as thick) the shading could use some work, and instead of an odd cut-off it may be possible to include his entire body in a similar fashion to this:

or , although I haven't tried myself, so it might end up sacrificing quality.
