No Mario game has an amazing storyline, the RPG ones have good ones because that's the name of the genre.
MP only has a wafer thin storyline to hide the fact that its basically Mario Monopoly.

Yes anyway, I doubt even Mario Party 55 will have a storyline any better than previous once since its a party game, by rights it shouldn't even have a plot as that makes it all the more ridiculous.

First off, it has the best Boards and Mini-games.

Second, I think Millennium Star and Tumble were good characters.

The only ones I remember the plots for being 1, 6, and DS, The best would have to be DS. Mario Party 6's plot is just about seeing who's better; Sun or moon, and Mario Party 1 is about seeing who's the best. (Apparently, nobody wanted o be the best.)

Isn't the whole series a repeat then? The MP series has mainly provided more of the same, with random storylines and little new features between the titles. MP1, 2, 3 are the better titles I've played, because it's not too packed full of features, yet it has enough replayability (especially with friends) that you can keep playing them for a long time.
