i only used paint.net, with a lot of careful use of the brush tool and layers. i actually just vastly increased the size of the brush while setting its hardness to 0 in order to achieve the shading effect lol

i did it all in one night, and it took me approximately 4 and a half hours to complete from scratch.

If you want smoother shading, try making the brush have a soft edge as well as setting brush transparency to a low number so you can achieve smooth shading by gradually darkening stroke by stroke. Kinda like in nondigital drawing.

because, i'm kicking off a long-term (emphasis on the word "long") project for you all; Forum's Peak Academy!

i will be taking your OC's and drawing them as students from either dr1, dr2, or drv3. the rules for requesting are below;

• All characters are first come, first serve. No duplicates of the exact same character, sorry.
• You must choose what character you want to be drawn as, and provide your desired pose (such as one of their sprites).
• You must provide a picture of your OC. (I would prefer a more humanoid OC, humanoid meaning four limbs, but I can work with anything)
• If you wish to be a "certain hidden character" (characters not revealed at the very start of the game but are integral to the plot) from any of the games, please spoiler the request.
• This will be done on my own time, when I feel like working on it. Please do not remind me if I fall behind on keeping up; it's frankly bothersome.
