It does, as long as you're in the same region as me (USA, so yes). Which is why MCD's settings didn't transfer onto my game .~.

if you have tomodachi you can create a qr code in the town hall

if not, go into your mii maker on 3ds and its somewhere under like "take a picture" or "share" or "qr codes" or something. Then save the qr code to your sd card and upload it to an image host ~
