let's talk about the next Bond film

Specific Neptune

how're you doin'
Pronouns
Any
it's called Spectre, named after that little organisation which you might remember from the old bond films that were the main villains and tried to kill bond and take over the world

according to wikipedia, bond gets a cryptic message, and he navigates several layers of spectre, all while fighting christoph waltz and drax the destroyer
can't forget about the subplot from skyfall returing, which is about the government questioning the viability of the 00 section

co-starring voldemort and jim moriarty from sherlock

it's coming out later this year, and directed by the same guy who did the previous bond film

so whaddya think?

christoph waltz is cool

im not a huge fan of bond movies but hoyte van hoytema is doing cinematography so I'll probably see this

You may want to start with Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Diamonds Are Forever to understand SPECTRE.

Seeing as apparently Mr. White is in it, you'll also want to see Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

I'm looking forward to this, I've always enjoyed Bond, and have wanted to see SPECTRE back for a while.

I hope this is a sign of them going back to their roots. Give me the wacky gadgets, women with sexual puns for names, and the over the top villains. The modern Bond films are good but they feel like every other action movie. Older Bonds have a very distinct feel that makes them fun and unique. The fact that they brought in Moneypenny and the old office design in Skyfall also makes me hopeful.

i first watched skyfall and then watched casino royale and understood the movies perfectly fine

since the newer bond films (starting with casino royale) are basically a reboot of the series, then i'm fairly positive that spectre will most likely be explained pretty well throughout this movie

still, watch the original movies because why not

hmm ive never watched a bond film, maybe this is a good place to start?

so far looking pretty promising

i just hope they explain what Mr White's up to, cause he appears to be part of multiple organisations, and he still hasn't been caught

I thought Casino Royale was the best bond movie (out of those I've watched anyways, which excludes those of Timothy Dalton)

I didn't really like a quantum solace and i thought skyfall was good but not as good as casino royale

other than that goldeneye was pretty good.

i dont know i probably wont watch this in a cinema since i didnt watch skyfall in cinema either, but we'll see
christoph waltz is an amazing actor btw

Holy shit, chills when I saw the ring with the SPECTRE logo. And those shadowy guys around the table also? Man, it feels like a classic Bond film.
