I'd always choose Tanooki Suit. Unless I'm playing as Rosalina, then I wouldn't even choose a power up.

It depends on what you mean by "Bowser". There is only one Bowser in both games, the rest are Fake Bowsers, Bowser's Brother, or Fake Bowser's Brothers.

I've beat Bowser in SMB a bunch. So I think I'd rather face Bowser in Lost Level, seeing as I've never come close to beating that game.

Would you rather power up with the Shell Suit or Penguin Suit?
 
I'd rather powerup with the penguin suit because then you can swim very well and not slip on icy terrain. I have another question, too. Would you rather equip a fire flower or an ice flower? Me personally, I'd say ice flower because it's less dangerous lol.
 
I'd rather play Princess Peach Showtime because of Mermaid Peach. That's my favorite transformation in the game.
 
Would you rather have a mega mushroom or a mini mushroom? I personally say mini mushroom because I think it's more useful.
