Ugh, I would be happy if I even please one person in this whole thing. Like, I kind of figure that everybody would rage at me for like doing something and not participate.

I find better staying neutral than pleasing someone with a nickname it wants but everyone else hates it.

because then it wouldn't please everyone except those who didn't want nicknames

easy solution: make 'No Nicknames' an option when DF catches a new pokeman and wants us to suggest/vote for names for it, that way the outcome is fair with the majority like it should be. it's more than just you (talking to no-one in particular here) who wants to participate in this

Pretty much what I was going to do.

Like, because of this way this is set up, if enough of you can agree on one nickname before I decide to continue, then I will be forced to do it. I don't necissarily WANT to be in control

Because Nidhöggr is a nordic dragon who lived underneath the world tree Yggdrasil and constantly devoured its roots.

It would be funny for a tree gecko to be named after a dragon that eats trees.

Also some other reason that is probably too unsavory for sharing.
