Yes.

I was wondering if someone would catch that.

the favor has been repaid - i sneaked a clever reference into my fic and walkazo caught it

...I liked the reference to the recurring bike gag from the anime.
so now you just have to notice a clever reference in walkazo's fics and the circle will be complete

I have to mention that it partially contradicts events in the main story, but luckily, side chapters don't need to be canon, so all is well.

Re: "I heard you have a dragon problem?"

That too. The main contradiction is that there is a forcefield around city hall, and Mario, while giant, is still under it.

The forcefield wasn't shattered here, and you can still see it in every subsequent panel where the night sky should be visible.

Uh.... doesn't the force field limit his movements?

Re: "I heard you have a dragon problem?"

Yes, but more importantly it limits the movement (and means of escape) of his targets. That's a reasonable trade-off.

Compare trying to swat a fly in a wide open area with lots of hidey holes to trying the same in an enclosed space with no means of evasion. The latter is much less annoying.

Re: "I heard you have a dragon problem?"

How do you still know the characters names ._.
