Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is the other game I was talking about, but that's technically the first game to cast him aside.

I seriously don't get you. You want Lucas or Ness to be cut because they're too clonish for you when they are semi-clones who do fight differently from eachother. Yet you want Daisy and Dixie Kong who would be at best... semi-clones of Peach and Diddy. :S

You know, I think a lot of people are angry that Waluigi is not playable and is an Assist Trophy again. I believe something similar to that will happen to Ridley, I'd rather have Petey Piranha confirmed because Ridley is really huge. (I can see how Petey can be playable)

How. How is it not true. Daisy is literally nothing more than a Peach pallet swap, and Dixie doesn't really have much to set her moveset apart from Diddy.

Her special move in this game involves releasing four large hearts that will stun characters of the opposing team upon their contact with them.
Special move Mario Sports mix: Daisy
She can make gardens complete with fences and cover her hands in flowers in a similar manner to pompoms to block and attack projectiles.

There is nothing even remotely similar between these 2 moves.

You're using one particular spin-off game to try to make Daisy less of a clone of Peach. When I think Nintendo just sees Daisy as an alternate to Peach in pretty much most of the others. Daisy might have something with flowers. But as it stands, it's more likely that if they considered Daisy at all. She'd likely be a bit of an afterthought and made a semi-clone of Peach. We're not saying it's impossible for Daisy to get her own moveset, but it's more likely she'll have similar properties to Peach simply because it would make designing her into the game far easier. I don't think Daisy would be worth making an entirely new moveset for.
