I'm down with using my legal deck from now on.

Also, me and VB had a close set. 1-2 I managed to clutch it out at the end with Blue-Eyes and Majestic Mech - blahnameblah.

VB used magic cylinder on my 4200 attack monster lol.

VB's deck is seriously scary, for me all I can think to do is take the barrage of traps and such as they come and try and take guesses at what they might do to me. I don't have much of a counter to them aside from staying on the offensive constantly (which worked in my third match with him, exhausted his supply of traps in his hand/on the field and attacked with some of my strongest monsters).

But I also have a suspicion that sometimes he just puts spells down to compel me to play safe and hand the offensive to him. I play reckless and it works out most of the time. Though the times it doesn't, I get beaten pretty horribly.

My first win outside of playing any of you was against an elemental hero deck. That was interesting.

I really should work on finishing my first deck.

By the way, what would be the common ratio for monster, that one card type that I'm forgetting and trap cards in a deck?

And extra deck cards are always nice if they work with your deck.

25 Normal Monsters (1-4 Stars)
06 Normal Monsters (5-6 Stars)
07 Normal Monsters (7+ Stars)
06 Spell Cards
12 Trap Cards

When I have time I'm going to add more spells+traps that I find useful.

Nope, they're legal because they have specific summon conditions.

I kind of figured my deck was almost entirely winning with brute force but I can kind of see what my cards have in common. A vast majority of them have the ability to destroy an opponent's monsters quickly through traps/effects and leave them wide open. I think that's the reason I'm always able to get so many attacks in.

The Traps/Effects make a path and the ATK power makes a wound.

Also, Tyrant Dragon was really useful against VB. Trap Reactor is an irritating card.

My deck is too luck based. It all revolves two cards are in my hand in the very beginning if the game or whenever my opponent has a weak offense. If not, I'm screwed. I am trying to figure out how to elimate some of thT luck.

Either add more combos so you have back up plan or add spell cards that let your gain more cards or certain cards.
