Exactly what it says. I'm kinda a Lady Gaga fan. I also like the Backstreet Boys and the Black Eyed peas.

There might be a topic for this, but probably not. Either way, it's in the wrong board.

Anyways, I mainly listen to J-Pop and stuff, and there's this one J-Pop singer that I really like, but I forgot her name.

composers write music, but usually don't perform them


anyways it'd be a tie between the beatles, nirvana, metallica, system of a down, muse, bon jovi, the white stripes, and aerosmith
 
I like Shakira, Beegees, Earth Wind & Fire, Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band, Maynard Ferguson, and Iron Maiden. I want to expand on what bands/musicians I like since I have no preference...just as long as I enjoy the music I'll be fine with it. I'm not picky.

For video game music, I'd say Christophe Héral and Billy Martin, the artists who composed the beautiful Rayman Origins/Legends soundtrack get my absolute favorite. Sorry, Koji Kondo and Mahito Yokota.
 
oh yeah future world music and two steps from hell also get mentions because thats some damn fine music
 
I'm into The White Stripes, Gorillaz, REM, Foo Fighters, Blur, Led Zepellin, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Nirvana, some Green day and The Rolling Stones.

If I had to pick a fave: I would go with White Stripes or REM
 
i don't listen to much music but i am a big fan of the alan parsons project

...that and movie soundtracks. but that's not really a musician/band thing, unless you count john williams as a musician

Rolling Stones, Alan Parsons Project, Nirvana and Bonnie Raitt.

I loves tonnes of other musicians, but these are the ones that I can listen to for hours and hours for days on end and never get tired of, and whose full libraries I either own or am slowly amassing.
 
Journey, Beastie Boys, AC/DC, the list goes on.

My favorite DJ is DJ Earworm. I like how he mixes several songs into one song. Usually, the song ends up sounding better than the original songs.
