The one thing that does bother me is Abortion. Sorry LGM, but I would have hated if I or one of my sisters had been aborted, just because my mom was afraid should wouldn't be able to handle us while still being in high school/college. I know that a big chunk of the argument is in when does one count when one's life starts (conception, 1st trimester, 2nd, 3rd, birth, etc.), but I still wouldn't want my life to have been ended because of someone else's hands, and not be able to be what I am. I love my life, and I love the fact that I can share my life with others and be friends with others and be able to influence and share things that others don't have. I mean, yeah, life without me wouldn't affect much, as you would simply have never known me, but still, I'm sure that I made a small impact on some of your guys' lives. I definitely can understand it if it is in a dire situation such as the baby is killing the mother, and for extreme situations, but all I know is that I just know that there was so much potential for that person. Honestly, the outcome of the person - in my opinion - is highly on their environment, and I do feel bad for the kids that are just given away/left on the streets instead of given a nice home and stuff. But again, I would rather have my own decision about my own life rather than have the fact that I might be screwed up because of my parents/the amount of money/given up to foster homes/et cetera and let something like that happen. I don't really know many people that have abortions personally, but I know that many people that do usually end up having guilt issues and depression from it, because some do end up regretting that decision.
I'm very sorry that I went on this rant. I didn't mean to get so politically charged. Agree/disagree, but please, let's not make a feud out of this.
