That's a terrible attitude to have. How are you supposed to debate your issues with the other side and come to a consensus if all you're listening to are people who support your position already?

Sounds selfish, but I'd feel alone and stupid if nobody else shares my political views. I can't help feel being relieved, although it's a disgusting, narrow-minded, selfish feeling as well.

I always like to listen to the other side, but it drives me crazy when I hear people say stuff like "abortion = murder" and "evolution doesn't exist" and "global warming is a hoax". I'm always up for a debate, but being skeptical of evolution and global warming has little substance.

I think I just regretted saying all of that... I'm sorry.

I really do like to hear the other side... after all, I did engage in debates with people with opposing viewpoints, and I never accuse them of being stupid or any of that sort. I want to hear what opposing viewpoints people can make and cite solid evidence. That stuff gets me thinking. Remember that little debate about driverless cars? I enjoyed making arguments and finding sources to back up my claims and yours as well. Again, though, I think some stances such as opposing evolution and supporting intelligent design being taught at public schools as a science have little substance (evolution is just a theory, evolution can't adequately explain all the complexities of life).
 
You do of course realize that there are several good arguments against evolution?

Of course, it's not really an issue I'm sure on, since the three available options presented to me (no God evolution, God creation through evolution, and God creation without evolution) each seem equally possible, but each has compelling arguments in their defense.
