It's basically a side story where you aim to restore Norende (I forget the spelling) Village, though it's not the main focus because of how it works. While restoring the village, there's a chain of quests for you to do, escalating from "get this monster drop" to "defeat this boss". I finished it at level 17.

Additionally, depending on what things you achieve in the demo, you get various rewards at the start when you play the full game.

Ah, well the Norende village thing is apart of the full game, I never did get everything fully upgraded, but that's because I didn't have access to the internet to get my free villagers for a majority of it. I think your job levels might carry over, that's the only thing I can think of.
 
Yeah, it's greatly expanded from the pictures I've seen of it. And the demo's told me only the achievement reward sets carry over, I believe.



Playing some more of Bravely Default on Hard difficulty. So far I'm on the third quest and am currently levelling up my characters.
