...Who would you be, and why?

I had a good ponder about this one, and I eventually came to the conclusion of Balin from the Hobbit. There's just a lot of wisdom and caring there, yet he's just so badass. According to legend, he had a pretty badass death too, so there's that.

My honourable mentions would be Gandalf, Radagast, Bilbo, Boromir, and from a different series altogether, Jack Sparrow, and the Doctor.
