From the mind of Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man, comes a new action-packed, side-scrolling shooter game, complete with transformations, "fresh Mechanics", and even input from the fans (through regular polls). It's currently poised to only only be available on PC via Steam, but if it reaches $2,500,000, they'll release it to the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U! Here's the Kickstarter here:

My thoughts: It looks like Mega Man, without... you know, Mega Man. Well, since Capcom isn't going to give it to us anytime soon, we might as well go with this.

Considering Inafune's incessant trifling whining over the years about the stagnation of Japanese developers, that the first noticeable thing (collaborating on Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2? LOL) he does after leaving Capcom being this is highly amusing to me.

Not the first thing, http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/jjCBeTuzzUrvfC-e76sa3YK_DcbBE0Rv

Thought that was by another Capcom alumni. Oh well, core point still stands.

Y'know watching that gave me a warm fuzzy. But at the same time, it left me with a bittersweet taste in my mouth. While I'm sure that the game will be awesome, it reminds me too much of what could've been.

That being said, I threw 30 bucks at it.

im really wanting to give this game some money but im not sure how things will go since this month bills are a bit rough.

With that said i think it looks pretty cool, im good for anything megaman(that's good) at this point, because really, i really miss some megaman.

Megaman x series just was so awesome.

Maybe i should go back and play classic because i dont remember much about it.

You forgot this classic> http://www.amazon.com/Sweet-Fuse-Your-Side-Sony-PSP/dp/B00BFU8IFS

On-topic: I don't trust Inafune. He's the asshole who pushed for Westenized development on Capcom, which leads us to things like DmC or Lost Planet 3, and he's still doing it, so I don't think he still has it. (See also: the game I posted above)

While I'm not going to throw any money at this because I don't that sort of thing but this project looks pretty neat. I hope it doesn't fail.

woooo

Yeah, I voted I, but watch C win because ponies even though the design is ugly as shit.

Also, apparently the person who did the music for Mega Man 2 is doing some of the work for this game, so there's that.
