Because so many people put emphasis on the ugly who could be emphasising the beautiful.

It is amazing how complete is the delusion that beauty is goodness.

If you always try to do the right things for other people then the world will be better because you were in it.

nope, i always see the absolute worst in people and often think everyone is out to get me.

It depends, even in the rudest people, I can see good stuff in them.
However, this doesn't count to people for reasons like being not understandable (including in their own language), don't tend to write or speak well (basically the same as the first one), or just being nice to me because they want something from me (and when they finally get it, they no longer want to talk to me).
If you want a good example: NiNTENDOMiNATi0N.
He was a great friend of mine when I showed the world what the 3DS Capture Card can do, then he bought one himself, and deleted every possible contact with me.

He was a deciever.

Depends on my mood, really.

Depends. If I've been friends with them for a while, or they're a friend's friend, I do try to see the best in them. If it's someone I'm not good at getting along with, etc. I'm a Worst-Case Scenario type person.

You're going to be posting that damn cat everywhere, aren't you?

I see what people show me.

He wasn't necessarily referring to physical beauty.

When I first meet someone, I'm probably more likely to see the good in them, but it depends on stuff like my mood, their mood, whatever.

I definitely am able to overlook someone I know well's faults.
