Vocal members of the Moral Minority have been complaining and petitioning the government about the new art gallery displaying several provocative nude portraits by several famous artists. Moral Minority members claim these pieces of work promote prostitution and indecent sexual acts.

The Debate

If anything, the government should be supporting these artists and their work, not listening to these prudish whackjobs who are scared of a little bare skin!"

i believe there is a difference between posting historical works of art containing nudity (additionally, this picture is also christian imagery, which... makes your post look strange, to say the least) and pictures that consist solely of pornographic content

that said, it would be better to drop this and continue on with the original topic

Okay, so I just found out about today, and I've been laughing the past few hours about it.

Basically, there was a guy in Kansas who was angry that a school was trying to teach evolution and intelligent design and, in protest, requested them to also teach a fake religion he made up.

And so began Pastafarianism, a religion that worships the almighty prophet the Flying Spaghetti Monster, who created this world. From what I've heard, they say "Ramen" after their prayers, so this is already the best religion ever.

Yes, the normal version of the painting was man reaching to god put in may churches and of course museums.

And you know what? Something minor like this shouldn't be such an important issue. We should be able to be mature and not fuss over one tiny penis that's barely even large enough to notice. That being said, I'm not saying you should go posting porn everywhere in response or anything, but something like this, which has historical significance and is depicted in school textbooks worldwide, shouldn't be such a big deal.
