What was bad in Melee, but good in Brawl now? (Characters, Stages, etc.)

I thought I'd make this topic because it would be great to share our opinions on what was bad in Melee, but better in Brawl . I for one love the fact that everyone is more balanced and have Final Smashes! The Final Smashes add a huge impact on gameplay! But in Melee, the Adventure Mode really sucked! Brawl's actually has a story behind it! What about you guys?

The controls.

The controls in Melee were rather stiff and unresponsive, even with the Gamecube controller, Brawl feels like an huge improvement.

I like the Wii Remote and Nunchuck the best. I don't know why most gamers hate the scheme.

Bowser was TERRIBLE in Melee, but he PWNS now in Brawl.

Mewtwo was the worst character in the game in Melee, but Lucario is a huge improvement over him.

Brawl also has much better Music.

I like Brawl in almost every aspect better than Melee, but Final Smashes get really cheap after a while.

The Subspace Emissary is a lot better then the Adventure mode in melee...

Yoshi: Better
Donkey Kong: Better
Link: Worse
Zelda: Better
Shiek: Worse
Ganondorf: Worse
Samus: Worse
Kirby: Better
Ice Climbers: Better
Captian Falcon: Worse
Mr. Game & Watch: Better
Marth: Better
Ness: Better
Pikachu: Better
Jigglypuff: Worse

Oh, and the balance is about the same, thanks to broken characters like Snake and useless ones like Ganondorf.
