So, I have been reading old locked topics, and a lot of the final posts in them say something along the lines of "Don't necropost". What does that even mean?

It means to revive an old, "dead" thread. Comes from the term "necromancy" which often causes the dead to rise in fantasy stories.

I see. Thanks

Problem solved, this can be locked.

Or rather from just the Greek(I believe) root, Necro.

That would technically mean "deadpost" and I don't think your post is actually dead.

Actually, it means deadposting which makes a bit more sense.
Not as much sense as "necromancer posting" which would be reviving something that was dead with your post, which is what necroposting is.
