Can we ever stop using spoiler tags? It's a real hassle.

I won't give in to despair! Anyway, I just had a thought. All that extra weight of Togami's...what if none of it's real? What if the true purpose behind it, was to fake his death?

^
I doubt it, but it's not a twist I'd be surprised about in Dangan Rompa.

This is definitely taking place after the first game. People Togami couldn't trust, who also couldn't trust him? Sounds exactly like the events of DR1 to me.

Nagito, of course.

What about Nagito? That's the white-haired one, right? Anyway, think about it. What if the real reason Togami was so picky about the location was because it needed to be suitable to him faking his death? If Monobear did something that messed up his main plan-such as revealing the existence of a traitor/the altered memories or taking down Usami, Togami might have had faking his death as a back-up plan. His existence could easily have been used to cause distrust among the others in much worse ways, such as revealing the truth about him.

I was talking to Perch (Hajime Hinata) about that around the time it first started, actually.

I wouldn't be surprised if it happened, but that's kind of hopeful thinking on my part as of now.

Togami is confirmed dead. And of course it's Nagito who killed him, he was the one who had access to all the knives when he was cleaning up the lodge.

Confirmed by who? Monobear? Since when has he been trustworthy? And if the weight is faked, then it will probably be impossible to feel a pulse.

It's been proven already that Monobear doesn't lie. And we've already seen Togami's obsession with food.
