The official Team Fortress thread

Also, is this a good sniper set?

Hitman's Heatmaker
Jarate
Bushwaka

EDIT: Involving Lily's post, what are get primium items?

When someone buys a Get Premium item and trades it to someone else, their account becomes premium.

No, they have to activate it through their backpack to use it. Simply trading it will not make your account premium. (And obviously, not usable by people who aren't F2P)

unless you were gifted with TF2 before it became free to play. (that or already bought it)

[Contra(dictory)]

please, FE, refrain from stating the obvious

seriously what kind of relevance does that even hold anymore

how long ago did TF2 go free to play?

[Garlic Man]

About a year and a half

If he is just now getting a Steam account, do you really think he already had it?

[Snifit on Stilts]

Also, is it possible to turn the blood off? It's quite annoying.

[Pokemon DP]

um how is it annoying

like, at all

[Snifit on Stilts]

I just don't like blood spilling everywhere.

[Pokemon DP]

then you're playing the wrong game

grow up, it's just red goop

[Snifit on Stilts]

I'm just saying that I dislike the blood, you don't have to be so rude.

[Crypt Raider]

The only way to turn off gore easily is to replace it with even more annoying confetti and balloons, so I'd recommend just kind of dealing with it.

[Garlic Man]

Yes, it is possible to turn gore off.

1. Go to the Library tab on Steam
2. Right click Team Fortress 2 from the game list
3. Click 'Properties' from the dropdown menu
4. Under the 'General' tab, click "Set Launch Options"
5. Enter "-sillygibs" (no quotes) into the box, then press OK

Now your gibs will be replaced with gears and springs and little toys with no blood.

note: Blood will still show up on models if hit by bullets, but explosive kills and damage will not spew blood everywhere like they do with real gibs.

[BEEEEEAAARRRS]

I remember i had blood off in sauerbraten, it made it more hilarious when people got killed and their ragdoll launched off at 1600% force or whatever
