Colour do matter, when you have multiple Consoles.
It's a lesson I've learned from having 3 Black 3DS's; I keep confusing them.

You should put stickers on them. That would make it easier.

I have regretted putting stickers on everything. Because they auto-ruin it for me later.

I already have a way: Look at the back!
If there's Japanese text, it's a Japanese 3DS.
If there's Western text, it's a European 3DS.
If there's no text, it's a Capture Device.
