But I know you and Toad have an alliance, I mean, you guys made it pretty obvious, I mean Toad said somewhere in the thread about like "I swear if Nabber goes home I'll...." or something like that.

Nabber calls everyone into the living room. Everyone takes a seat, with DP sitting alone as Nabber began to speak.

Welcome everyone to the veto ceremony! As winner of the Power of Veto, I have the power to veto one of NSM's nominations. Since it is the Diamond Power of Veto, I also get to choose who I want to put on the block if I so choose to use it.
"Well, as expected, I am using the power of veto on...myself. Shocker, I know, right?
"As much as I wish I could nominate NSM, he's hoh, so I cannot. Instead, I think I'll rather nominate Quizmo instead. Sorry Quizzy, but needed some replacement.
"And with that, this Veto meeting is adjourned."

Houseguests, time to vote for who to evict. Quizmo or Dry Petey will be going home!

It was evening as the houseguests laid around the living room, relaxing. Quizmo was still unphased as Dry-Petey tried to force a smile. It didn't work out so well. Nabber appeared overjoyed, still happy he saved himself. NSM was on the opposite side of the Black sofa, keeping his distance from Nabber. The host began to speak to them all.

"Alright houseguests! It is time to evict either QuizmoManiac or Dry Petey. Those two are unable to vote, and since there is a penalty vote, NSM, you will not be eligible to vote as well.
"Because of some irresponsible actions by Quizmo, he automatically has an extra point added against his score, meaning the grand total of votes are really nine.
"One by one you will go into the Diary Room and cast your vote for who you want to evict. We'll begin with Smasher."

All the houseguests filter through the Dairy Room, casting their votes. Smasher was the first to enter, with Pyro being the last member to leave. The host began to speak to them again.

"A majority has been reached. May I remind you that once the results have been revealed, the evicted houseguests will only have a few seconds to grab their belongings and leave the house.
"By a vote of 5-4, Quizmo, you are safe. Dry-Petey, you have been evicted from the game."

Quizmo stares in surprise, along with a few others. Dry-Petey gives a few hugs to people before he departs out the door. Everyone stands in the dining room, watching as his picture fades to grey. Only 10 pictures remain.

The houseguests get excited for the HoH, waiting for the doors to open to lead outside. However, they're aren't opening. Suddenly, the hosts calls everyone back into the living room. They all side according to their teams.

"Houseguests, there are going to be a few changes to how you play this game. Obviously you had much bonding time together - even relying on your team to pull you through stuff. Well, no more.
"This game of chess is finally over! Black and White Teams are now over! You guys will be playing as individuals now, meaning no more safety nets for some of you!
"Also, this is the last week before we get to the final nine! That's right, after this week, everyone that is evicted will be going to either the Jury House or the Final two!
"And for the last thing, this challenge awaiting you is the first Endurance challenge! You might find that you will be spending some time and energy to fight for the HoH!
"Good luck Houseguests!"

HoH competition (Part 1) will be sent out shortly!

Time to post the part 1 stuff for the HoH endurance challenge!

However...I'm only going to post who is in the lead, and then I'm going to do the forever delayed power ranking of all the players so far in the game!

Right now, in the lead of the HoH competition is Quizmo, with a total of 45 points left! He only wasted 39 points in the first hour of the competition! Congradulations!

Also, so far, only three people have fallen in the competition, but there are a few players that are close to falling as well. If you get a PM to part 2, then you're still in it, as well as the total number of points you have left! If you don't get a PM, then you are out!

Power Rankings!
Nabber - Has easily won the most competitions so far; smart moves; big target.
New Super Mario - Has won/nearly won some; made bold moves; great alliance.
Pyro - He has won/nearly won some; made very strategic moves.
Toad - Co-won some competitions with Nabber; done a lot to affect player's choices; smart alliance.
Goomba's Shoe - Co-won a competition with NSM; great alliance.
Lily - Won a competition; made very smart moves; good alliance.
Smasher - Hasn't won anything yet; made bold moves; good alliance.
Quizmo - Won a competition; inactive in many competitions.
FireEevee - Hasn't won anything yet; kept low but active.
UltraMario - Hasn't won anything yet; inactive.

All the houseguests walk outside to find a massive set of swings that are vertical to each other. The former white team members sit next to each other as do the former black team members. The swings are tied to each other with white ribbon and black ribbon tapped across five and four of them respectively. New Super Mario sits in the bench off to the side. The host begins to announce the HoH

"Welcome competitors! You excited? I would be, because today is the last week before the Final 9! That leaves one person left to evict.
"Likewise, this competition is called Check Mate, because no longer are you working in teams, and in order to win this competition, you will have to get everyone else to fall down.
"So, I hope you don't mind attacking all your teammates that you used to have, because this competition begins...now!"

The swings begin to swing back and forth, with the ribbon being ripped apart from the movement. Quizmo is holding on tight as other people sit there and get caught up in the excitement, almost slipping off. Almost ten minutes later, it begins to rain.

It is about half an hour in. UltraMario and Goomba's Shoe try to hold on, but are starting to slip. Goomba's Shoe falls first, with UltraMario right behind him. They fell at 0:31.

NSM: "Sorry GS and UM, you have fallen. You are unable to be Head of Household."

The competition continues with seven remaining players. Pyro constantly taunts the other players while Quizmo just holds on tight. Smasher and FireEevee seem to be neck and neck, slowly tiring out. Nabber is having the time of his life.

Toad and Lily are struggling though. The hour is able to end, and they are starting to fall. FireEevee seems to have lost a lot of energy too, almost at the point of the other two. Finally, after a sudden flurry, Lily slips off the swing, at 0:55.

NSM: "Sorry Lily, but you have fallen. That leaves only six competitor-

Before NSM could finish his statement, Toad falls off, dropping at 0:57.

NSM: "-and Toad. Both of you are out of the competition."

Lily begins to cry as she runs inside the house, upset by how she fell. The hour mark tolls as the five competitors remain. Smasher and FireEevee are the most drained, barely holding on for dear life. Nabber seems overconfident, as Pyro continues to taunt. Quizmo remains the same - holding on tight.

After a few minutes, FireEevee begins to lose control. He tries to hold on as he swing is pelted by the rain. He tries to regain his seat, he suddenly gets flung off at 1:12, onto the soft cushion below him.

NSM: "Sorry FireEevee, but you are eliminated."

Pyro: "Oh come on FireEevee, you shouldn't be so wary! And Quizmo, I haven't heard a word from you! You really should get talking, come on! You're really lame-"

Just as he was taunting, he ran out of breath. To everyone's amazement, he finally lost his voice, and past out. His legs remained tied to the swings for a minute, but then loosened. He fell at 1:14.

NSM: "Here, someone help me with Pyro. Quizmo, Nabber, and Smasher, you remain!"

As NSM slaps Pyro awake, Smasher begins to taunt Nabber.

Smasher: "Come on Nabber, you really should put up a fight!"

Just as Nabber gets mad, the machine moves as rain pours. He loses his grip instantly, falling at 1:16. He hits the cushion, holding his middle finger up at Smasher. Smasher gives the finger right back to him.

NSM: "Nabber-"
Nabber: "Yeah, I know, I'm out."
NSM: "I was going to say "ha ha," but that works too."
Nabber: "Whatever."

The hour slowly drags on. Smasher is literally ready to fall as Quizmo just remains in the same position of holding on tight. Smasher is breathing heavy, trying his best to hold on. Lily, who came out earlier, starts wishing Smasher good luck.

However, at 1:39, Smasher falls, hitting the cushions as the rain turns on and the swings begin to move again. Quizmo lets go of the swing, jumping up and down in victory.

NSM: "Congradulations Quizmo, you are the next Head of Household!"

Smasher continues to lay there, freezing. Lily and FireEevee rush over to help him. They wrap their blanket around him, trying to warm him up. Quizmo is treated the same by New Super Mario and Nabber as New Super Mario passes him the key.

There is no food/luxury competition this week! Nominations are up next!

"Alright, now lets begin the Nomination ceremony! For the first time in this game, everyone gets to have a key in there, except for two, of course. As Head of Household, I am unable to be placed on the block.
"I will pull the first key." *Pulls Key* "UltraMario, you are safe."
UM: "Thanks Quizmo." *Pulls Key* "Lily, you are safe."
Lily: "Thanks Quizmo." *Pulls Key* "Goomba's Shoe, you are safe."
GS: "Thanks Quizmo." *Pulls Key* "Smasher, you are safe."
Smasher: "Thanks Quizmo." *Pulls Key* "FireEevee, you are safe."
FE: "Thanks Quizmo."

New Super Mario, Nabber, and Toad reamin on the block. FireEevee reaches for the last key as the three of them watch in suspense.

FE: *Pulls Key* "New Super Mario, you are safe."
NSM: "Thanks Quizmo."

Nabber sits there, unsurprised. Toad is actually surprised to be on the block, stunned. Quizmo looks at them and gives them his explanation.

"I have nominated you Nabber and you Toad for Eviction. Nabber, you personally took me and placed me on the block last week, and I know you probably voted to evict me. Toad, if it isn't obviuos enough, you're working with Nabber. I rather get rid of this threat before I regret it.
"This nomination ceremony is adjourned."

The veto competition drawing will be shortly!
