Using imgur.com is quick and easy, you don't have to sign up for anything there. Just take a picture that is saved on your computer and then upload it using imgur.com. You will then be able to copy a URL from that picture, then just take that URL and put it in signavatar.com

You mean without being squished? Yes there is. All you have to do is make them all the same dimensions. For differently proportioned pictures, add either white space or transparency to the edges of the picture so you can maintain the proportion and not let it get squished.
