Why was a topic I started removed?

I started a thread on a suggesting two forum extension to be installed on this wiki, but the topic was removed, I sent an email but I have had no reply.

The thread had no context, had little content beyond a bunch of links and it was the only post you made on the forum. It looked exactly like what a spambot would post, and we get quite a few of those.

But really, it's my fault for deleting the thread without giving you the benefit of doubt first. You can repost your suggestions.
