Your top ten Mario games list

I don't have any of those on my list either, SM64 is good. But personally I don't think the 2D games are that good

Super Mario Bros. is almost always at the top of IGN's 100 Greatest Games list. THAT'S GOOD.
 
1. Super Mario Galaxy
2. Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time
3. Super Mario Sunshine
4. Super Mario Bros. 3
5. Mario vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis
6. Super Mario 64
7. New Super Mario Bros.
8. Super Paper Mario
9. Paper Mario
10. Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga
 
These lists are completely irrational, and are biased toward the new games. If you put Mario 64 below MVSDK2, Galaxy, or Sunshine, I shall cry. And don't get me started on one of these.
 
That they are biased to the new games is no wonder because you may just've got them and you wanna play them right away and think "Whoa, that's awesome! I wanna finish this game because the old ones are getting boring!"

BTW, my favourite is MKDS right now.
