Re: V2W: Forum's Choice (Round 2 FINALE: Mario Vs. Zelda)

Alright folks we've reached the final matchup of Round 2. Aragorn and Ganondorf both move on to Round 2.

We now have a pretty interesting matchup here in the closing hours of Round 2. Who will take the last Round 3 spot, will it be Mario with the homefield advantage or will Zelda have enough fans to pull out the victory? There's only room for one character here. So vote your hearts out everyone!

Remember always to be civilized in voting. No insulting a character even if you dislike them here. If you need to vent anything that would get your vote revoked if you said it in here. Take it to Mindless Junk. Thank you!

I respect the Zelda series alot. But I just can't betray one of my most beloved series.

Re: V2W: Forum's Choice (Round 2 FINALE: Mario Vs. Zelda)

Added a little extra to the front page. You know how you guys voted to have the 10 series that performed the best in the poll up there? Well if you look at the front page that's going to be updated after every matchup and the Top 10 at the end of the game will return in the sequel. The point system is based on how many votes all 5 of their characters recieved, they also get an additonal 10 points for each character heading to the next round. The bonuses aren't going to be added up until Mario Vs. Zelda but the vote points are updated to yesterday's matchups.

Now this...this is a tough one.

Mario: 5
Zelda: 6

I'll have to go with Zelda because she taught me all those awesome ocarina songs in Ocarina of Time.

Anyone who voted for Zelda is forgetting something very important here.

Re: V2W: Forum's Choice (Round 2 FINALE: Mario Vs. Zelda)

Mario: 6
Zelda: 7

And now the fine print of this vote: I am in no way endorsing Nintendo's treatment of Zelda in Twilight Princess, nor Zelda's normal princess-ness where she gets captured as easily as Peach; the vote is cast with Zelda's alter-egos and treatment in Skyward Sword in mind.
