I have never heard of that, and I also doubt the truthfulness of it. Please provide links to relevant information.

I didn't feel like reading past the first page but:

1.) The Mayan Calender (supposedly) loops, so 2013 would be 1 on their calender.
2.) Archeologists (have supposedly claimed to have) found more Mayan Calenders that go past 2012.

Those two seem to conflict but I wouldn't doubt one or the other as being true. Besides, just because the calender ends doesn't mean it's the end of the world.
