Locked Threads

Why do threads get locked? ???

They can get locked for several reasons.

1. They get locked by the creator's request. (or if you have/have had a special position, you can just lock it yourself)

2. They get locked if there is already a thread just like it that's still active.

3. They get locked if they are made by a troll.

4. They get locked if they end up in a flame war.

5. They get locked if the mods deem them inappropriate.

There's probably some other reasons I'm forgetting.

Another reason is that a question in a thread is already answered

I was just wondering, there is still so much I need to learn about forums.

Also, how do you know if a troll made a thread?

Trolls are usually there to spam or make inappropriate messages
