Paper Mario fits better as a Mario Game.
SMRPG was more RPG-ish to me too.
Paper is better. SMRPG could be a lot better.
They're both great games in their own ways. And i like both OST's.
i frankly prefer M&L games.
But when it comes to RPG i do play non-Mario RPGs More...
 
I always felt that paper mario had more charm than super mario RPG just cause things felt more lively and it's style was a lot more memorable.
