We're only about 2 days away from the new episode. Anyone wanna put any guesses on who the mysterious mare is? Do you think it will be someone we've seen already? Do you think it will be someone new?

What's the plot summary?

"There is a new masked hero in Ponyville who is stealing Rainbow Dash's thunder."

I see this as being Dash's equivalent of Trixie. I'm kind of hoping for a new character. The one-off characters are some of the best, imo.

I hope the new masked character will be some kind of shout-out to an already existing masked superhero. So I can geek out over it.

Hope she (This is Mysterious mare after all) isn't as annoying as Trixie. I didn't really like Trixie that much.

Besides I like Rainbow and all. But she needs to be humbled by someone that isn't as prideful as her once in a while.

Well, if it's a returning character, it could easily be Gilda (which would explain why she's masked - she's a griffin and would be recognizable).

Can't be Gilda. It's Mysterious Mare. Mare is a term for a female Horse/Pony. Gilda's a griffin.

Oh. Then it's probably a new character (I think Trixie learn her lesson from last time.)
