Funny, but in one of the videos, you see Bowser with his regular tail, and he's trying to swat Mario with it, just like a Tanooki tail (and hasn't he moved lke that before?) So they didn't need to give him the new tail at all.

I think that False Bowser's have Tanooki Tails since Bowser gave them a Dark Super Leaf to turn them into False versions of himself which also gave them Tanooki Tails as Super Leaf's are supposed to turn people into Tanookis.

OK, that might explain it. That was the final Bowser I saw, so I guess it's like he doesn't need the tail; he can do the same thing without it.

I noticed that timer is strict in special world, you have 200 or 30 sec in beginning of level with timer pickups that add 10 sec

I'm good with speedruns in SMG/2 and I will easily beat this strict time limit

This game have over 999 lives
