fun fact, the reason your voice sounds drastically different coming from you than in your recording because you also pick up the vibrations that come from yourself like your skull and other bones
The entire scene is not the fault of voice acting, that's just a bad, constrained script and sound direction that the developers are forced to work with, especially considering that they're constrained to make the protagonists voice act as little as possible. If this was handled in any other...
I view Mario RPG stories as Saturday morning cartoons and I do think adding voice acting really makes it pop. Good voice acting can sometimes even make a corny script make you laugh, just by the delivery of lines alone.
I really think you're being too cautious with how voice acting will be done. Multiple Nintendo IPs implemented it, namely Fire Emblem, WarioWare, and Zelda and there have been no problems. Star Fox wouldn't be as iconic as it is without its lines. Advance Wars remake got voice acting and I...
i hate coming up with a drive to do something creative while at work, come back home, and then decide i don't actually want to do it and just slump and do nothing instead
A lot of the stuff is eh, mostly just multiplayer minigames, I wouldn't spend 20 dollars to upgrade from the Switch 1 to the Switch 2 version here. Assist Mode, I would have loved as a small child who didn't play platformers because I had a fear of dying in them, so this is good for them...
It's the same team that took out the ability to play without items in Mario Kart 64 because their playtesters didn't play the option.
Glad they learned from their game-destroying mistakes though, now that Shy Guy being fully playable in Mario Kart 7 made the Mario Kart series finally playable...
More eyes on the wiki is great also helps @Xiahou Dun out
congrats on the road to being a sysop, you'd do fine with deletion rights and the ability to protect pages :)
People had gotten accounts deleted before and became rendered as guests but it's not a common thing. Just log out and don't go back in again as others suggested.
I think Radar Scope was destined to be a failure as it was just yet another copy of Space Invaders in a market flooded by Space Invader clones. The thing it sought out to do at least inspired Juno First and Beamrider but neither games I'd say are particularly household names either.
it can but at the same time, not necessarily. my favorite mario character isn't the one that has the most compelling story in the franchise.
it's a fun throwaway story where they fight monsters on a remote island, on the same level as crash team racing's story of oxide wanting to turn the...
Dynasty Warriors, Xiahou Ba.
Yeah I can die in one of the timelines, but I can also survive and fight against a double of myself in the timeline that I die too.
I swear people like Waluigi Pinball only because of the music and the theme, and not the actual layout itself.
I mean, I adored the track when I first played it. It gives you off an amazing first impression of flying through that tunnel with that incredible soundtrack and having sound effects...
I mean, even hyperrealistic graphical styles still requires art direction for it to look good. No matter how cartoony your game looks, it'll be bland without a cohesive art direction, see how Multiversus suffers from a cartoonish artstyle that fails to deliver.
Step it up, whatever new triple AAA experience that is going to release later this year, idk what it is, Elden Ring 2 or Divinity 3 or GTA VI or whatever, we got a serious GOTY contender right here right now.
Pay attention Geoff Keighley and mainstream games outlets.....
JUST LOOK AT HIM...
Mario Kart 64 is my first Mario Kart and I hate the game today so there's that.
The rest of the games are great though. Double Dash with crazy cheats is an experience, especially the cheat where everything blows you up, including touching walls, touching bananas, touching other racers, getting...
