Ok I beat that zone
The starfish were actually pretty easy to deal with. If you get on a bolt without Tails and full send it, no slowing down at any point, you go up at the perfect speed to avoid all of the spikes. I just did that and it worked out like 4/5 times
It definitely wasn't my...
I haven't seen the show in a while, but I'm pretty sure it's not spoilers to just say that her character has authoritarian/control problems. You'll see them more clearly in later episodes, but I think people commonly cite Burning Low as one example of that where the way she acts was just kinda...
Oh also with the cow thing Princess Bubblegum is pretty explicitly revealed to be, like. Not a great person if you read into her behaviors enough. So it's actually pretty in character for her to not care about what the cow is thinking
Not reading this yet because I haven't cleared the zone, I posted this when I wasn't actively playing lol. I'd edit it into a spoiler tag just to be safe
Strangely enough considering that I watched Hazbin Hotel well after ARKG, I associate him with Vox from said show. Probably because they're both TV guys, idk
Finished Sonic CD last night! Got the good ending too, but man I can't imagine having to beat the special stages in one try in the original lol, those were irritating as ever

That sounds pretty different, Jschlatt was at mine and it was mostly him pretending to be aggressively conservative and insulting other YouTubers.
Except they kept being sidetracked by the crowd getting them to chug water bottles lol
3D Mario, of course, is a different story altogether. They don't have this problem except for the two when they tried to make it 2D but the 3D was the 2... D.
Anyways, this a roundabout way of me saying I, so far, much prefer Sonic's stronger focus on world building, environmental storytelling...
You know, know that I've played Sonic it's making me sort of dissatisfied with Mario's comparatively blander level themes. The New Super series, sure, but even classic games don't give their levels particularly interesting or distinct identities- Marble Zone, Spring Yard Zone, etc. has way more...
I should post some more stuff in here
Totally not prompted by Pitohui
An older drawing that I never posted here, but I think it looks pretty.
Something I made in Adobe Animate
A thumbnail I drew for my Sonic the Hedgehog video
Vox from Hazbin Hotel. He looks entirely mentally stable...
I was born in 08, so my younger childhood was caught in that transitionary period between gen 7 and gen 8 consoles.
It went from the Wii being everywhere to mobile games as the next big thing and Nintendo becoming less culturally relevant after the Wii U flopped. Still played a lot of 3DS...
Childhood for me was literally everyone having a Wii and getting to play Mario Kart Wii, NSMBW, Wii Fit, etc. at my grandparents' house. Fun times, though they've all gotten rid of them by now unfortunately
I will point out that NES games in the late 80s and 90s cost like $80-100+ when accounting for inflation. Games being $60 was a standard set when discs were introduced since they were less costly to produce but really the prices we're seeing now used to be pretty reasonable and I think we're...
