    You can get them from pretty much any online storefront (e.g. Ebay, Amazon, etc.), if you just want a basic figure they're pretty common.

    Final Mariothon update!

    The last time I posted about this was way back in November, and I am glad to say that as of today I have now fully completed this marathon!
    The games I completed since my last update are:
    • Super Mario 3D Land
    • New Super Mario Bros. 2
    • New Super Mario Bros. U
    • New Super Luigi U
    • Super Mario 3D World
    • Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
    • Super Mario Run
    • Super Mario Odyssey
    • Super Mario Maker 2
    • Bowser's Fury
    • Super Mario Bros. Wonder
    and last but certainly not least
    • Donkey Kong Bananza!
    Overall this has been a super super fun journey for me, I may redo this again in the future! (Maybe 100% next time? Hmm.. might take too long but we'll see)

    January is wing cap Mario from Super Mario 64.
    February is Pagero from Teleroboxer for the Virtual Boy.
    March is Koopa Troopa in Super Mario Kart.
    April is the Hot Violet Machine from F-Zero: Maximum Velocity.
    May is Yoshi, but specifically from the puzzle game Yoshi (1991), I'm not sure though as I don't think it's an exact match of this sprite. It's definitely an earlier appearance due to his more beak-like nose.
    June is Mr Sandman and Bald Bull from Punch Out.
    July is Mario again, in his Super Mario Strikers soccer clothes.
    August is Samus in her Fusion Suit from Metroid Fusion.
    September is Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, and Pauline.
    October is Link from Ocarina of Time.
    November is Chibi Robo.
    December is Nana from ice climbers.

    Since my last post I have now completed

    My pace has slowed down slightly but that was to be expected as the games begin to get longer, moving onto 3D Land now!

    Niice! I'd play 3D Land if I owned a 3ds but I don't, so Nintendo please bring the game to Switch!

    I do plan on doing a 100% marathon in the future, though I definitely don't have enough free time for it now.

    I very randomly have the Bloo Bay Beach theme from Paper Mario: Color Splash stuck in my head... I haven't played CS in years so no idea where that came from

    I should play the original Yoshi's Island. I like the vibe of the game. I only played a very tiny bit of it once.

    Cappy is a character they could definitely bring back in some way, shape, or form.

    I have never played Mario Odyssey before in my life, but I absolutely love Cappy, because what's not to love about a ghost shaped like a top hat who can morph into all kinds of other hats? Not to mention, Shohei Komatsu gives such a wonderfully energized performance as Cappy that I named an imaginary friend after Shohei Komatsu.

    I decided to finally start a 30 game long Mario marathon I'd been waiting to do for awhile. So far I've beaten Donkey Kong, SMB1, SMB2J and SMB2USA. I'm not allowed to use warps or cannons or any kind of skips!
